None of the dub simulcasts are running at this time. Really hoping we get them soon though (I am watching some of them on Funimation's website, but would love to see them on TV).If you're going to air subtitled shows, why not go for this season's simulcasts? Then again, is the Funimation Channel running the dub simulcasts?

We want to hear from you! Would you rather watch newer shows with English Subtitles before their English Dubbed version is released?
Did whoever's behind FUNimation Channel give up on spreading to other providers?

"We're committed to making it easy to discover and connect with anime, and our new cable channel will provide the best in anime entertainment that fans have come to expect," said Mike DuBoise, COO of FUNimation. "We are grateful to all subscribers who have supported the FUNimation Channel over the last 10 years. While we finalize the new channel for launch next year, I encourage viewers to subscribe to our streaming service now at FUNimation.com – so they don't miss a single episode of their favorite titles."
At the end of every year, Uverse does a free preview of all their HD channels, which meant that I got a free week of the Funimation Channel. Not nearly enough time to watch a full series, but at the very least I could check in on it now and then to look for interesting shows to watch, and I did find a few. I first heard of Michiko and Hatchin there, and now it's on my DVD shelf.
This year I learned they've recently relaunched as TOKU, and...what the hell happened to it?
Now they do schlocky Japanese live-action movies on top of anime marathons. And does Funimation even run it anymore? Every anime on it (of the six or seven I've seen) is a Media Blasters title--one of which involved twincest, another was a bouncy-breast fanservice-heavy high school comedy, and the rest of them weren't all that interesting. Did the viewership get so low that they just decided "screw it, nobody's watching anyway"?
This has been discussed previously in another thread. In summation, Funimation ended their 10 year partnership with Olympusat and took the Funimation Channel's name with them. That is why the channel has been renamed. It is also not being programed by Funimation anymore hence the channel drift - network decay.
Funimation said that their channel is going to be relaunched some time this year. It is unknown on what platform. I personally believe that since they are walking away from the previous agreements they have made with cable operators and MSOs (over the last ten years on their linear channel) that it will be on some sort IPTV platform bypassing cable companies altogether for Roku, Sling TV, Apple TV, Amazon TV etc. Time will tell.
