CN/AS on free streaming services

Why hasn't this been done yet? I'm a Star Trek fan and routinely watch legacy Trek shows on Pluto. I mean, it's pretty obvious what CBS/Paramount's play is there -- ST and their other free channels exist primarily as vehicles to advertise Paramount+ content during commercial breaks. WBD could do the same for Max using some of their legacy content that they rarely air on cable these days.

Because Warner Brothers doesn't want to let people watch CN/AS shows for free.

However, I can imagine WB launching a separate streaming service for the Cartoon Network shows now that they've been removed from HBO Max. This hypothetical streamer could be free with ads and have an ad-free tier that customers would have to pay a monthly fee for. Let's say, $5.99 - $7.99 per month. The issue is that I don't know how many people would be willing to pay for an all cartoons streaming service. I would, but I don't know about anyone else.

As for what this service could be called, I would call it either Cartoon Network Max or Cartoon Network Stream myself.

Nah, they won't do that. Right now, they are fine with just giving Cartoon Network shows to other streamers like Hulu and Prime. Which, honestly, I'm fine with, too. Those streamers actually treat their animated shows well for the most part.

Sure, I get that. It's just more convenient to have them all in 1 place than have to subscribe to 2 or 3 separate streaming services, but like I said earlier, I know that a lot of adults aren't willing to pay extra for that convenience.

Totally agree, it's a wonder WBD doesn't jump at the chance. A free channel with old CN, like Toonami or Cartoon Cartoons, would be a hit and would serve super well to promote Max. Considering how Pluto or Tubi work, it would be a win-win.

I might be the only one who cares but why is Scooby Doo basically unavailable everywhere? Netflix has only Mystery Inc and the two James Gunn movies. Tubi has What's New and Where Are You. Meanwhile HBO Max has basically nothing. I've been itching to watch the classic Scooby Doo direct to video movies lately and they're nowhere to be found outside of purchasing them on sites like YouTube.
Last night started watching a new adult animated series, a Netflix original that is basically the succesor to Big Mouth.

What is so great? Despite being a 18+ show, they actually bothered to give it a Romanian dub :ack::eek:
