Six chapters in two episodes? Actually the pacing for this show is pretty fast compared to a lot of shonen.

Well, it helps that it's based on a story that was concluded almost 20 years ago.

Yeah, this is probably one of the rare cases where the anime is playing catch up with the manga.

Why the super long gap between parts 4 and 5 in the anime (if we'll ever get part 5)? Parts 1-4 were significantly beloved. Is David Productions having budget issues that keep the show from being a One Piece length long-runner?

WB wanting awesome Blu-Ray sales I believe.

If it was a budget thing, David Productions wouldn't have made that Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe* OVA included on the Blu-Rays.

*character from Part 4 that Araki makes side stories for, other than the TSRK side stories, there is also: Rohan Kishibe goes to the Louvre(which is actually sold at the Louvre, and Araki has an exhibit there), and the literal Gucci commercial manga where Rohan goes to Gucci. Araki has done a few Gucci advertisement manga in the past, and Gucci has held JoJo themed fashion shows. JoJo is probably more popular in Europe than the USA.

I can't imagine JoJo being a slouch in blu ray sales in Japan. The long hiatus JoJo is on is simply inexplicable.

I feel that part of the reason for the delay between Parts 4 and 5 being due to David Production also working on other projects and thus don't want those to interfere with the quality of JoJo.

I guess we might get a four to five year Attack on Titan style wait? Haven't heard much hype for any non-JoJo David Production anime. Ben-to had some interest for being almost as insane as JoJo. Seems like the studio is a one hit wonder. Get back to doing JoJo! Who knows, maybe the wait will be long enough that Toonami airs all of part 4 and is ready to simuldub part 5. Still, I wonder if we'll get part 4 on Toonami or not.

David Productions has done: the anime for Hyper Dimension Neptuna, Inu X Boku SS, Ben-To, Sakurada Reset, Level E, Planetarian: Chiisana Hoshi no Yume, Dogs: Bullets & Carnage, Lost Forest, Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On, Tatakau Shiso: The Book of Bantora, and Ristorante Paradiso.

Yeah, other than JoJo, and Hyper Dimension Neptuna, I have never even heard of the other stuff. They aren't a large well known studio from what I've heard. Not entirely certain how they got the liscense and not Madhouse though.
