I really hate it when they screw up series continuity. I had a bellyful of it trying to watch DBZ saturday morning on upn69.

I'm givin' them until Friday. If the last eps of Guardian Forces doesn't air until then, I'm going to start sending Nice, polite and noteworthy emails ocer to CN to let them know they've got some eps to air left...


Lord, let Zoids:CC not end up as MSG did long ago. The show's been through enough, what with having to be aired at 6:30 in the AM and all. Let it at least have its finale! It deserves it!

Well, it seems that the finale won't air for a long time, so let me get my thoughts on the show out right now. CN, please, in the spirit of closure, air the finale.

Zoids Chaotic Century

On a one to ten scale, this part show pretty much gets a six. The characters are likable, but some feel forced. (Fiona has no motivation. Also, Captain Herman at first appears as a devious person, but after we learn he's the President's son, he becomes a living saint.) The battles are cool, but there is no real physics. (The ZG appears gargantuan at first, but then seems little taller than a Gordos Zoid.) And as for the villans...
Raven seems to have no motivation at first (although we learn he was brought up Heero Yui style later). The Desert Alchameino gang is cool, but Prozan comes off as a ripoff of Trieze Kushrenada from GW. The mysticism of the show also feels like it dosen't belong. The best episodes (at least in my opinion) are the mass millitary engagments.

I will be ranted on for this, but here goes...

Giving Fiona boobs dosen't make this a better show.

GF seems even more forced than CC, and the motivation of the main villans is never explained. (Hiltz, please elaborate on who the "strong" are.) And the heroes are even more unlikable. Thomas and his R2-D2 wannabe Beak get on my nerves every time I see the show. Maybe the ending has an explaination, but for now, I give Zoids GF a 4.

Nah. I actually found it quite humorous.


I like me some Zoids (be it CC, GF, or 0), but when the day is over it's still a show I can live without. And it did give me some sweet 80's nostalgic fun. So on a scale of 1 - 10 I'd give the Zoids franchise a 7. It's just good fun, and "Classic" Zoids does deserve a run on Toonami.

Zero-9 I give a 10 if weren't for a few really bad episodes.

Prozan's goals, actions, mannerisms, and personality run similar to Trieze. Very similar. And they both fought personally in their final battles (Prozan with the Deathsaurer, Trieze with the Tallgeese II.)

Did they air the conclusion today? If not, I'd like to hear more reviews.

Be amazed by Ban's ABS OF STEEL (TM)

I've always considered Prozen to look like Ghaleon, the main villain from Lunar :The Silver Star Story (He's reduced to Angsty Villain that turns Good in the end in Eternal Blue). I should also point out I visually like both characters in a pathetic drooling fangirl sort of way...

I was sooo right. I *KNEW* I'd end up liking Zeke in that 'Young Guilemon' sort of way. I'm still giggling at one ep where Thomas tried to declare his love for fiona and accidentally ended up telling Zeke, who begins to blush and he grunts out a "You Love *ME*?!" *blush, hearts popping out* The funniest scene to date in CC/GF

Speaking of Thomas and his R2-Dibi2, I like him in the same way as one would like davis from Digimon 02 (and for that matter, Harry Champ from Zero): He's obnoxious at times, but you can't help but admire their effort in trying to get the girl, even if the girl is already designated to another male by cosmic fate (as all their cases have been, especially in Fiona's case). And I find the idea of a big cow Zoid beeping like the coolest Droid in the world highly amusing. But that's me.

Finally, its nice to see Ken manage to get a job after 02 ended, though I'm sure he probably had a long chat with his agent for giving him the role of the main antagonist and--

MAIN head: What now? *puts SKULL up to hear ear and listens as he whispers to her* I KNOW he isn't Raven! I'm joking about his similarities with Ken!

SKULL: *grunts*

MAIN: Whatever. so, where was I? oh, right, Ke--I mean, Raven. I dig Shadow alot and all three(two?) of his Zoids were cool. moving on.

Reese (AkA Psychic Blue Beetle Grrl)was freaky as heck and if that freakiness doesn't make for Reese/Fiona yuri-fodder, I don't know what does.

METAL head: *sweatdrops*

MAIN: Well it does! And I'm still curious about how she was able to get the parts to make her own Genosaur!

METAL: *grumbles*

MAIN: ...yes, AND how she, Raven AND his Geno Breaker (but not her Genosaur) survived the Deathstinger's blast. So what else is new?

Well, again, until Friday, I don't plan on saying anything (I do not trust that schedule, for Schedules have been known to be changed without the official list telling of said changes). I'll even consider writing a petition if I have to. Just don't make us Zoid fans go through the same torture that Mobile Suit Gundam fans went through at one time. You don't have a 9/11 event to use as an excuse. Finish the show and we all stay happy.

Well the series has oficially started from scratch today.

I know a lot of people are gonna be torqued off, and i'm not too happy about it myself, I do finally get an opportunity to see the series from scratch. I didnt even know about this show until really late in the series. The first episode I ever saw was when Hiltz kidnaps the president and we get to see the LightningSikes for the first time, I got a lot of catching up to do.
