Not quite a la carte pricing, but it's close. YouTube TV will group certain genres together(sports, entertainment, etc) into low-cost packages for those who don't want to pay for the comprehensive package. More details here:

There's no reason to complain. The prices will be cheaper. That's the best solution as live TV gets expensive by year.
