With all the massive cuts I'm expecting them to do from all these counterbids, I wouldn't be surprised if that, God forbid, happens.

If the DIscovery side remains alone it is an absolute win. Paramount would close so many channels around the world, and who knows, maybe even that popular channel you like is part of the crossfire.

I fully expect Netflix to bid higher. They've made it very clear they're in this for the long haul.

Frankly I suspect this entire stunt was to finally get Paramount to shut up about transparency.

Netflix walked away surprised me and it was unexpected because I believed that Netflix would continue the fighting.

I'm totally lost the confidence in WBD and Paramount.

Not just Looney Tunes alone, RIP to CNN and all of Turner linear networks.

Oh wait, the hope isn't lost and you can hope for oversea regulators to make more difficult for Ellison since Trump can't impose more tariffs after court blocked the emergency law.

I already had a "loss" with Game One's closure, no idea if I can handle this too... (Thinking that there are chances that Warner TV Next could disappear aren't nice.)
I hope Boing is safe, since Mediaset has half of it.
