Hi, I hope this won’t make us go overreacting, but I found this: https://x.com/dsnynewscast/status/1735107394504384886?s=61 according to this tweet and macroaxis, Warner Bros/Discovery has a 58% probability of bankruptcy. I think it’s better if Warner Bros. just fired David Zaslav. Now, everybody stay calm! This is no time to panic!

That tweet is basically stating that the way things have been going for Warner Discovery, the likelihood for bankruptcy is high. That doesn't mean that it definitely will happen. As you say, it's not panicking time yet. It's just a Tweet. No major news source has reported this as of yet.

MGM Studios nearly went under in the 1980s, but the studio partnered with United Artists and remained afloat.

As I said before, I don't think that Zaslav can be fired, per say, but he can be removed by the studio's shareholders if they think that he's doing a poor job.

Yeah, I ran a search on this last night; no other entertainment news source is reporting this 'news', let alone verifying it. I think it's just fear mongering clickbait. (Twitter is known for posting misinformation, in fact mistruth is practically their brand now.) I wouldn't give this a ton of oxygen.

Well, you maybe right! I am concern with Warner Bros. but not too much. At least that one will remind me that Disney going bankrupt is unlikely.

^^And even if that were the case, Chapter 11 bankruptcy in cases like these wouldn't mean that the studio(s) shut down forever and all their IPs would disappear. They would just heavily restrict the amount of original content they produce and begin farming out their shows and movies to other studios and outlets, possibly selling off the stuff they deem the least necessary until they got back into the black, after which they'd just resume their normal operations. Heck, we're basically witnessing a skinny version of that now with WB and Disney.

Even Toys R Us is slowly starting to make a comeback now.

Movie studios don't really follow the "rules" of Big Business; it might well be the case that by following a certain formula an analyst would predict the company will go bust, but that formula doesn't speak to the rather unique world of Hollywood. There's a reason this hasn't been picked up by mainstream publications.

That’s true

Here's a fun article I wrote on why Ruby and Jade from Sofia The First are good characters.
Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
