"VICTORiOUS" Series Talkback (Spoilers)

No, but Dan's begun advertising an episode airing in late August, so I'd presume that's the next new episode, otherwise he'd also mention any other ones.

At this rate, foreign countries will be past us in airing episodes.

I don't get why Nick is taking so long to air new episodes of the show. The season has already finished shooting, so why make us wait 2 months for a new episode when it's not even halfway through the season yet?

It also doesn't help that the show airs at least 1 or 2 episodes a day when only 8 have aired so far. They can run the entirity of the episodes so far in a week, some twice. Kids are going to get burned out of Victorious before the first season ends.

I've seen the episodes currently aired and I think that it's a good show for what it is, but the wait is ludicrous.

They could have done it like this and had plenty by the time S2 episodes are ready.

March: 1 episode
April: 3 episodes
May: 2 episodes
June: 2 episodes
July: 4 episodes
August: 3 episodes
September: 2 episodes
October: 3 episodes

Give it a short break, and by late November or early December Dan could probably have the filmed Season 2 episodes ready to be aired, judging by how quick it took him to prepare iGot a Hot Room. This way, premieres can be more common so they don't air all the episodes in a single week. Over and over.

Victorious has been doing very well in the ratings, which makes me confused as to why Nick would give it this treatment. By the time the season finale airs, season 2 will probably have ended production at this rate.

This is a pretty good show, but who the heck does the scheduling over at Nickelodeon? It honestly makes no sense!

My favorite characters are Jade and Cat. They usually stand out in whatever scenes they are in. They really should sing more, they have amazing singing voices. Definitely the best singers on the show.

Too bad Mary Sue - sorry, I mean Tori Vega, - gets all the songs (even when it is completely illogical for her to do so) and ends up saving the day by the end of the episode.

So when does the next episode air? We're barely half-way into the season and season 2 is already filming! Whats the hold-up?

So, the Chinese restaurant owner and her shy daughter from last night's episode. Did they seem a little too much over the line into offensive stereotype to anyone?

Not really. I knew many Chinese people like that when I was in school.

I'm surprised that there isn't more discussion here about Victorious. I've come to really love watching this show. It features some absolutely georgous girls. I love Victoria Justice, and Jade is hilarious as Tori's nemisis. Robbie Shapiro alone is a pretty boring character, but Rex is one of the most interesting characters on the show. I tell you what, Dan Schneider has done some really good shows.

Also, would a moderator maybe want to change the title of the thread to "Series" talkback instead of "Season One" as I believe the show is now in its second season.

Well I'm sure there would be more discussion if Rho was still around - what happened to him/her?

I enjoy watching this show. Especially now that it comes on almost daily.

Caught the Christmas episode. Pretty good. Not sure exactly why Robbie would be so into Christmas since his character is supposed to be Jewish. There was a really hot scene featuing the girls singing a song while wearing some pretty sexy Christmas outfits.

Can we change the title on this to a more general Victorious talkback? This is the start of the third season.

Anyway, tonight's Breakfast Club parody episode was incredible. Instead of avoiding all the drug and sex references the show took them on head-on with some funny twists on them, with "vegans" and "tacos" making interesting stand-ins. It might leave the youngest members of the audience a little mystified, but I'm sure the teens have checked out John Hughes and will be hip to it.

Damn, I missed this ep because of Dan Vs.
Breakfast Club is my favorite John Hughes movie, too. When's the next rerun for this episode?

I found it a little strange that the creators choose to break up Beck and Jade. During the episode in which they broke up, they made it appear like Jade frequently gets upset at Beck. But throughout the first couple of seasons, Jade actually rarely showed anger specifically at Beck. Normally her rage was focused towards the other female characters. I'm curious to see what exactly the writers have planned.

It's kinda sad. Elizabeth Gillies, who plays Jade, implied on Twitter that Victorious will soon be coming to an end: http://www.twitlonger.com/show/ipnvrc. It's understandable though, shows of its kind don't ususally have a very long run. Victorious has been one of my favorite shows on television.

Yeah, also Ariana Grande tweeted that she was "devastated Victorioys wasn't getting renewed". According to Dan Schneider, we have 15 episodes left.

Also, I agree, Victorious was one of my favorite shows on Nick & TV in general & I'll be sad to see it go.

Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
