Both shows have aired about 5 episodes. So what show do you think is better so far?

Rex. Both shows are totally uninspired, but at least that one seems to realize how unoriginal it is and doesn't throw us a bunch of really awful jokes.

Rex as it has an ongoing plotline in which, so far, every episode has been important.

Rex. While Ben 10 has it's usual 1:5 filler episode ration, Rex is interesting, intense, and Van Kleiss is awesome.

I also voted for Generator Rex. Despite my issues with the pace of the series, particularly in the last two episodes where the revelations and twist could have had more development, the plot is more interesting, Rex is a more complex and sympathetic character than Ben ever was and every episode so far has had some importance to the characters and/or the plot.

I really liked the season premier to Ultimate Alien since it felt like a better start than the season three premier of Alien Force. However, the following episodes did not impress me as much. In fact, up until last week's episode, I had completely forgotten about the five aliens lost on Earth after escaping from their prisons plot. At least with Generator Rex, the episodes haven't made me forget about the season's/series' main goal.

It's hard for me to choose, I think they have been on par with eachother so far but Ben 10's best episode this season I have found to be slightly more enjoyable than Rex's best so far, so I would have to give the edge to Ultimate Alien. I also think that when both shows come down the stretch and the seasons are about to come to an end that Ben 10 will prove to be the more epic and dramatic of the two shows, but I guess time will tell.

I do enjoy both shows though and I feel that Generator Rex has proven itself to be a good program, I just hope that whn it comes time to "wow" people when the season comes to an end that it can achieve that, I'm guessing it will do alright when it's all said and done. And for the record, just because I picked Ultimate Alien as the better show that does not mean that I dislike Generator Rex, I just want to be clear on that.

REX: because it feels like MOA is actually TRYING with this one. & I like the characters alot better then the ones in Ben10.

so yea Generator Rex is the Superior cartoon IMPO.

Generator Rex because of better plot, better characters, better animation, better EVERYTHING!:D

meh...i say both.
i dvr my eps, and interestingly UA is what i watch first.
i'm already familiar with ben's peeps, so it doesnt take to much brain
power to enjoy the series. (mind you its 2 in the morning 10hr work shift)

but after UA, my mind is buzzing and ready for GenRex. because i dont want to miss a thing.

so i'm the middle man.

I would go with Generator Rex, Ultimate Alien hasn't impress me one bit even tho the last episode they shown the main villain and its purpose but meh. With GR even when they have shown some revelations too soon still makes me want to watch the show further and see how it plays out if it has those small revelations turning out into really big ones at the end.

I'd have to give the edge to Generator Rex at the moment. At it's basest interest factor for me, I look forward to tuning in to watch Generator Rex every week while Ben 10 just feels like routine by now.

Characters - I like both sets of characters, but Rex has more interesting characters at this point. Van Kleiss, Agent Six, White Knight and Rex himself have a much better chemistry overall than Ben and his comrades/villains.

Story - This one would be hard to grade, but I think I would actually give this to Ben 10 at this point. Granted, it has had much more time to establish a mythos and an overall point to the story, but Rex's story seems to meander a bit and give away all of it's mysteries at the drop of a hat.

Based purely on the episodes that have been on so far, I just have to give it to Rex. Though I know it will never happen, I would kind of like it if we could allow each series to play out on it's own merits though without associating and comparing the two to one another. It's true they are both series' created originally by MOA and CN puts them together in the same peapod, but I would still like to see Generator Rex be able to grow without it being presented like it's tagging along on Ben 10's coat tails, for better or for worse.

Generator Rex because I actually like the characters and am engaged by it's storyline and intense action choreography.

Generator Rex, Ben 10: UA has always just been average to me, but Generator Rex exceeds that. Plus, I also like how it has a PG rating as opposed to Ben 10's TV-Y7 rating, it can do a lot more with that. Rex is also a lot more likable and understandable.

Hard to say. So far I can't stand either of them. Ultimate Alien should've stayed Alien Force and Rex just irritates me.

i like both, but ultimate alien has a small edge. both have some pretty good stories, but of course we'll have to wait for more episodes to see how either of the shows turn out.

some one else also mentioned that the shows shouldn't be compared and they should just play out on their own and i kinda agree with that

i 2nd that.

Awe man I like both.
So hard to pick, Generator Rex has such good storylines and animation and I do like the villains and characters. Six is so awesome and so is the girl, sorry forgot her name. We learn more and more about Rex past each episode so far and I'm really intrested to know who his parents are. Course than we come to Ben 10 UA, I've grown so attached to Ben and the gang's characters and were getting into the main storyline and villain, sure there's fillers here and there but there still fun to watch. So yah, kind of hard for me to decide. So I say tie :p

I think they're both okay, but I prefer UA and AF over Generator Rex... I think UA is turning out better than the 3rd season of AF, as of the last couple episodes of UA it seems like Ben's cocky attitude is starting to slowly diminish, back to what it was in the first two seasons of AF. I mananged to watch a few Rex episodes in my spare time, and I thought it was okay. I usually like most of Dwayne's stuff anyways, Static and Titans being my favorites. But after UA is over, I think I'm gonna officially "retire" from getting into any new cartoons...

i'm curious.
why's that?

After contemplating.....Generator Rex is right now the better show. The characters are more appealing, and the writing's better. I'm starting to think McDuffie's a hack after episodes like Duped (with the sheer stupidity of Ben helped run an episode), and Video Games (where even the writer admitted that we should ignore how Harangue managed to get away from nearly destroying the Washington Monument).

Chainsmoker Cat is one of the grossest anime I've ever seen, especially in the first episode.
