We have all seen bad games. Which one is the worst? After seeing reviews for these games, I tried them out among others. Here are MY least favorite games.

Plumbers Don't Wear Ties: BAD BAD BAD! It was all so random with awful writing. It was very strange.

Silver Surfer: Way too hard.

Dragon's Lair (NES): The worst controls ever.

How about you?

I was always split between Fester's Quest and (sadly) Back to the Future for NES as the worst games I've ever played.

I don't think that can even be considered a game.

But anyways, Simpsons Skateboarding is the worst I've played.

I thought it was universally agreed that "Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing" was the worst game of all time.

There have been a LOT of bad games made over the years, so I'm just going to limit my choices to bad games that I've actually played:

Rocky & Bullwinkle (SNES) - This game had absolutely no point to it and it was just plain boring.

Back to the Future (NES) - Again, boring game play, sub par graphics and a really monotonous soundtrack.

Bubsy 3D - The 3D graphics and animation in this game were soooo bad and the camera angles so drunken and shaky that completing even 1 level was impossible.

I'm probably going to go with Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust. I borrowed this game from someone, and man does it suck. The controls are awkward, the detection while jumping and climbing are off, and the graphics are ugly, and I heard there are many glitches in the game.

It's definitely none of the routine punching bags like ET (there are worse 2600 games, really!) or Superman 64. It's probably something almost no one's ever heard of from one of those 1,001 Games compilations. Or something some grade school kid wrote out in BASIC in 1982. Or a PC game that comes with free malware and viruses. Or a pirate cart that damages your hardware.

From personal experience I will say there are "games" that I've played on Action 52 that are completely broken.

E.T. was actually one of my favorite games as a kid, so I never think of that one when it comes to these "Worst Games Ever" lists. :D

I'm very picky when it comes to my games (anime and now movies as well.) which often leads me to being very shady as well. But, hey, whatever. If it don't interest me I've never played it. (That's a whole genre right there lol... Music, horror, puzzle, racing, NFL... stopped playing those a long time ago. Never touched a hockey, golf, soccer game in my life.) If it has a low rating or rather, if I don't like what I read on review sites (that's not the choice of words I'm looking for) I won't bother with it. (Unless it's a guilty pleasure or something that intrigues the heck outta me.)

With that said I'm just going to list a few of my least favorites. (Out of all the games I've ever played I think I've only played one game that I thought was absolutely horrible and that was Shadow the Hedgehog.) Anyway...

Shadow the Hedgehog - I was battling the camera moreso than the enemies themselves. I don't know how many times I'd fall off the road/path due to the camera being flimsy.

Everything else is bias talk.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl - The only reason I played this game was because of peer pressure. (I'm far too sensitive.) Generally, I just don't like Mario games anymore. I find nothing exciting about them these days. (I'm probably the first to say it but, I suck when it comes to platformers which is why I don't really play them.) I'm not a party person, let alone a person who plays multiplayer games. I like playing games by my lonesome.

Tekken and Soul Calibur series - I don't know when or how it happened because I thought all the Tekken games up to Tag Tournament was great. And I had fun with the first Soul Calibur game. Everything else afterwards just felt stale and boring to me. I'm also becoming more of a 2D fighter only type as of lately. I still play Dead or Alive 4 on some occasions but I'm becoming bored of that as well.

Star Ocean 3 - Fayt, Fayt and more Fayt. Like Shinji did for Evangelion (I could also use Naruto for Naruto... heh), Fayt did it here. He killed the game for me. I cannot stand naive characters as the leading character. I gave up after 10 hours into the game so I don't remember anything else. I don't really remember the battle system all that well. I just know it was kind of confusing for me to get the hang of it.

That's about all I can think of off the top of my head.

The game I'm about to mention...is SO bad...that it couldn't even be CONSIDERED a game

Buggy, unresponsive and overall boring design.

Freaking shovelware. =_= Why mom?! WHY!!?

The Legend of Spyro DS- The whole game is basically go into one area, kill a bunch of monsters, go into another area, kill more monsters, play a little mirror puzzle game, go kill more monsters. There is no sound at all in the game and it should not even be considered to be a Spyro game.

From my own personal experiences? Well, there are a few that stand out. Friday the 13th on the NES was pretty bad. Navigating through the map was near impossible and you never seemed to go in the direction that you wanted to go. All around awful game.

Eek! the Cat on the SNES was also terrible. The entire game was an escort mission where you, as Eek, had to aid people through dangerous areas like a zoo or an alien space ship. It was usually more annoying than it was fun however. Not to mention the game was very dark. And I'm not talking about the subject matter, the game was literally dark.

Superman 64 since nobody else mentioned it.

Chicken Shoot (or as Tommy Tallarico or one of the guys at Reviews on the Run called it, Chicken ****)

And it's interesting how some of the games you mentioned, James has covered them as the AVGN.

post number six mentioned that game.

The worst games I've ever played are Batman Dark Tommorrow (gamecube)
Aniforms (gameboy color)

Super Smash Bros. isn't a Mario game, though; it's a compilation game starring Nintendo's mascot characters.

It has got to be Plumbers Don't Wear Ties. The Angry Video Game Nerd's takedown of that game pretty much convinced me. It completely failed at what it tried to do, and it was a choose your own adventure game that didn't offer any meaningful choices whatsoever.
