The Worst Video Game Of All Time

Not to mention Sonic '06 severely toned down the special effects introduced in the last few games (the blue trail Sonic leaves during a spin attack is replaced by a weak particle effect), had huge, poorly detailed environments, horrible alternate game play modes for the other playable characters.

Hell, I'm still only hitting the tip of this sewage iceberg. I actually enjoyed Shadow the Hedgehog, and was expecting this to really be only on its level of "badness", but boy was I wrong. I actually found the reviews too lenient on it, and I don't see how Unleashed and Black Knight got lower ratings, since they were actually pretty good.

And the kill of Blaze! And leave it completely ambiguous rather the resetting time either brought her back or erased her from the time stream! I know it's in its own continuity and doesn't affect her appearance in other games, but come on!

After a little searching through my old crap, I finally found the game I was looking for. I know someone already mentioned Bill & Ted's Excellent Video Game Adventure for the NES, but I have a copy of a game that is much worse, the Game Boy game known as Bill & Ted's Excellent Game Boy Adventure. It has the same bad game play that the NES game has(as well as most games in this thread) but the thing that disappoints me most about it is that when we get games like Super Mario Land 2 and Kirby's Dream Land, as well as the Donkey Kong Land games later on, that demonstrate what the Game Boy could do graphically, we get games like this that make the system look worse than the Atari 2600.

I'm trying to think but has the Gamecube game Universal Studios Theme Parks Adventure? I thought it was going to be a great game based on what properties Universal has (Seaquest, Back To The Future, E.T.), but the game looked like it had been prepared for the Nintendo 64 and then, just before the code was ready to be printed onto a 64 cartridge chip, someone from Kemco's top office burst in and said "Scrap the 64 part, this game is going Gamecube and it is still on schedule for 2001!" and then left the office and the programmers just changed some code so that it would run on the Gamecube and then didn't do anything else.

Oh yeah, one game that is totally unplayable on the Wii is Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent. I've tried numerous times to get past the first level, but the controls are so clumsy and unprecise that the lock-pick sequences are totally uncontrollable. I should track down the Gamecube version sometime to see if it is as bad or if the controls actually work better on an older controller, since the Wii controls, especially with the motion-control parts where you twist and turn the Wii-mote to do different things, just feel like they were applied to the game very quickly and no one bothered to double check to make sure that the controls actually worked!

There is a game decided to some of the rides at the Universal Studios theme park. I have to check that one out, thanks for mentioning it.

Well, expect to be walking your character always on an angle across the screen since no one thought to include the ability to have your character walk in a straight line.
