This week...
Mordecai wants a handshake from Margaret's father.

You know your father, always thinking with his chopper.

So like, her dad.....with a bird...

Anyways, great episode. This season needs more episodes like these.

It was a good episode, really like how they handle on these type of episodes where others somehow mess it up.

What i laugh so hard is on other boards where they are shock that Margaret's dad is Human, even 1 commenting "that's so gross" I mean really.........you do realize there are talking human like animals among humans? Also don't get why is not possible, i mean we have Benson liking Audrey and even High Five Ghost......which btw his mom is human.

Dang, can't believe Pat Warburton hasn't showed up until now.

I don't find it troubling, since the anthropomorphism of the cast is never brought up on the show. They're all treated as normal human beings.

Is it odd that Margaret isn't a mutant human-bird hybrid? Sure, but there's weirder stuff on the show to question, like baby duck Voltron or Death Stars with sunglasses.

I was actually disappointed by him being human.

And I have no idea why. XD Seriously, in a show like this... I don't know what I was expecting.

Yeah, him being a human totally was a surprise. It comes off as an odd visual gag, that has no effect on the family's make up at all. Not that that's bad. It's pretty funny actually.
I enjoyed this episode, it was pretty funny.

The mannonball was a lot tamer than I thought it would be. For Regular Show it is surprising when something isn't ridiculous. Overall it was a decent episode.

I'm actually more surprised by the continuity here

Gotta admit I didn't saw Margarett dad being human. I thought he was gonna be cyborg or an alien of some sort.

Nice that the writers can still throw us a curve ball with the dad being human, but the rest of the episode was pretty predictable and meh.

Yeah..... very predictable when we watched Mordecai's butt cheeks in that swimsuit.......

The human thing surprised me. I assumed that he'd be a cardinal* like Margaret or, in a very long shot, a Blue Jay like Mordecai (which would be funny because women often look for a guy who reminds them of their fathers).

As to the human/animal relationship, it is pretty common in cartoons like The Looney Tunes Show, where we see that Bugs and Daffy have dated women (I wouldn't be surprised is Pepe Le Pew was shown with one). However, those are usually male anthropomorphics and human females. Is this the first time we've really seen a human male and female anthropomorphic? It might be why people are so surprised.

Although, I did see speculation that Frank is her step-father because there's a picture on the wall of two adults and one girl cardinal. They say that it's Margaret with her real parents. Of course, it could be Margaret with her grandparents or her mom with her parents.

*Technically Margaret is supposed to be a robin. That's weird.

EDIT: I just realized that we have seen male human/female anthropomorphic on this show. Most, if not all, of Margaret's boyfriends have been human. Which would go back to the whole "girls look for a guy who reminds them of their dads" thing. :)

Never was it stated that's her birth father. I mean he probably is but he could be her step father.

Why is everyone going for "step father" it's her dad, get over it. It's like saying to High Five Ghost that his mom is really her step mom.

I wouldn't be surprise if they do the same with Mordecai and Rigby's parents in the upcoming Thanksgiving Special.

Was I shocked that her dad was human? Yes, but only at first. Then I just went with it because it's Regular Show lol anyways not a bad episode, though I was kinda disappointed that they had 2 MordecaixMargaret centric eps in a row. I like them of course, but I just mean I hope they go back to the park in the next ep and feature the other characters too.

The next episode is "The Last LaserDisc Player" where the guys need to obtain a LaserDisc player in order to watch the director's cut of a cult classic. So yeah, pretty much will be a normal episode with Mordecai and Rigby and by normal i mean Normal for Regular Show lol.

Haha I just saw the commercial for it, looks like it'll be a good one. My only hope is that it isn't too Muscle Man centric.

Just for the record, I like the idea that her father is human (and I laughed at the reveal), but I went to the Regular Show wiki to see who did his voice and they actually have him listed as her step-father. I know that wikis are just fan edited, but it shows that there must be more than a few people who believe that theory. I hope someone from the show gives "The Word Of God" so we can get an official answer.

Yeah, dumb things like that bother me. On the TV show Grimm, Hitler was revealed to be a Wesen (a type of creature) called a Schakal. He's never called that, but he obviously looks like one. However, a producer once referred to him as a Blutbad, so now that's what he's listed on the Grimm Wiki. Even though it's obvious the producer just misspoke, it's now unofficially official. I want that producer to say, "I made a mistake" just to fix the damn thing.

As someone who's Portuguese, it just bugs me again that we lost. I wanted Portugal to win this time because this is Ronaldo's last, but no, we think Ronaldo has devolved significantly, and we lost against Spain.
