"Sonic Generations" Pre-Release Discussion (360/PS3/3DS and now maybe WiiU)

It was mention briefly by Sonic Team that Sonic and the rest of the cast speaks other languages besides english and japanese in Generations. Here you can hear Omochao and Sonic speaking spanish.

Played both X360 demos. The game is GLORIOUS from what I've played so far. Most thrilling Sonic levels I've played in a long time.

Quick question: Does the new Sonic Generations demo that was released on PSN today expire like the earlier one did? Or could you keep it as long as you want? Not like I would keep the demo if I bought the full game but I'm just curious.

Nope. The second demo is here to stay.

Given that one of the picky fanbase's main gripes is 'too many supporting characters', I guess Sega didn't want to risk one bit of backlash for a cutscene with despised (not by me, tho) characters talking. Shame, I always like to hear some words from Blaze or Knuckles (when he's not being portrayed as a dimbulb).

It's hard to see the animation quality through that video, but I like what I've seen so far.

Huge spoilers: Modern Sonic Vs Perfect Chaos. Just as epic as the original fight. Love the "Open your heart" remix.

I know he isn't the perfect for a final boss, but Perfect Chaos should only be beaten by Super Sonic. I get why they did it though (a lot of Sonic's past final bosses are amazing and the fan base would accept nothing less than Chaos at his prime and they didn't want to over expose Super Sonic).

The Sonic vs Shadow race is an exact replica of the final battle from the hero and dark stories in SA2. It's one of the most popular boss fights in the game.

You really don't think it makes Sonic look awesome by beating Perfect Chaos in his normal form? I welcome the change.

Well I'll be chuggered so it is, I honestly have no memory of it, my memory of bosses must be clouded by that damn Biolizard!

Well the game has the benefit of both being aimed at a different audience than uncharted and only costing 50 dollars. Besides Sega is expecting this game to get most of it's sales during the Christmas season and it's already became the most pre ordered Sonic game of all time so it'll do well even if it becomes a sleeper hit.
