  • No surprise here, the Batman annual was more mediocre work that left me with feelings of indifference. Mr Freeze's new origin was pointless, but I think that's because we wont see Mr Freeze again for sometime, and when he comes back, the origin/back story will most likely be retconned back to the way we all know it.

I pick up my comics monthly instead of weekly, so I didn't read the comic until, like, last week. Sorry about that.

It wasn't as terrible as I expected it to be, but I still wasn't impressed with it. One of the things I liked about the comic was the "lone wolf on the run" aspect of it, and having him join some makeshift black ops alien-hunting team isn't the direction I'd like to see the book go.

I don't remember either James Bond or Jason Bourne fighting space demons. And the solicits for both the Liefeld-plotted issues seem to hype more the return of old Wildstorm characters than a decent storyline. Scott Clark staying on as artist doesn't help me much either, as I haven't really been enjoying him on the book anyway. He had some huge shoes to fill with CAFU starting the series, though.

I am going to give it a chance. I may state my displeasure of what the future looks to hold, but I always put my money where my mouth is when it comes to this kind of stuff. I'll give it an issue or two. I just don't have high hopes for it. The book has taken (in my view) a dip in quality anyway, but putting a guy that just had his book dropped due to low sales (even if he was the artist. Comics are a collaborative effort) doesn't fill me with hope.

    Your welcome
I found the covers, scroll down to Batman 291-294
And I was wrong about it being a 6 part story, sorry about that mistake

    Peace, what's up?

I don't remember the issue number, it is an arc before Batman 300 written by David V. Reed, a 6 part story with villains on trial each telling a story how he/she killed Batman

Watched Toy Story 5 today. It felt like another awesome escapade for the characters, while also they taught an important lesson: it's ok to be different, especially if you still like to play with toys. Lily turned from an antagonist to a hero of the movie, because of realising exactly that.

This heat is unbearable.
Going offline until further notice. David Ellison has won. I’m seeking therapy permanently rather than quitting life. Take care everyone. Once I leave the world into the void, I hope my life is better.
