"Sonic Generations" Pre-Release Discussion (360/PS3/3DS and now maybe WiiU)

I'm actually excited to see Shadow again, knowing it takes place in the timeline of Adventure 2, before the character became an annoying joke.

I assume that last picture is from the opening cutscene. After the Time Eater ruins the picnic, Sonic wakes up in some weird area, full of portals to different time periods, he curiously sees a reflection of his younger self, stumbles into it and finds himself in Green Hill.

Seems like they put in more in the Sonic vs Shadow arena than an endless road. Pretty sweet.

The game looks a lot sharper now then it did when it was first revealed. Though I wish we could see some Emerald Coast and whatever the SA2 stage is. Because I want to see more than the first 3 zones.

Anyway, Sky Sanctuary looks gorgeous. As if that's any surprise. Can't wait to see Speed Highway and Crisis City!

I can't wait to do Sonic vs Shadow again. If they use the lines during that scene then it will make things even better. That has to be my favorite moment out of all of SA2.

Aww.. When I read that I thought that meant they redid the entire first game in both Modern and Classic styles (a guy can dream...)

The fact that they are even adding all of that in really makes me a very happy Sonic Fan. =) It would be pretty cool if they added one game from the classic era and another from the modern(however the only game I could think of is Sonic Adventure but I doubt they would ever do that with it being sold on live and etc now).

Well, Sonic the Hedgehog is being sold on Live (And PSN and Wii Virtual Console)as well, and it's in both the Ultimate Genesis Collection as well as the Sonic Classic Collection. So, it's not impossible, Sonic Adventure 2 would be neat since it isn't for sale anywhere else at the moment, plus I don't have that one...

Anyway, not excited up hub worlds, I hated those in Sonic Adventure, never bothered with side missions, and Sonic 1 is everywhere (As I just said). I can already play it on my 360 thanks to Sonic's UGS (Which every Sega fan should have.).

I already own at least 6 versions of Sonic 1, but since it's one of my all time favorites I don't mind yet another version. I do agree that SA2 would have been a good unlockable since as mentioned it is not currently available for any modern system at all and it was the 10th anniversary game.

Also, the achievements were leaked and like half of them are secret achievements. Looks like the story might be a bit meatier than usual.

Watching the Death Egg rise in HD is simply awesome.

I'd love a S3&K remake in this engine so much.

The game really seems to still be looking great and better with every new zone reveal.
