I gave you all of your expansions. I probably messed up and gave you the wrong pieces, but I told people that could happen. I can't go back and fix it. It is what it is.

Well, it depends.

My main goal in this was to push you from my territory. In that, I have succeeded.

However...we would both be still be neighbors. We would still need to expand. We would still be powerful, even moreso if we allowed the other to recover our might....and now we will almost certainly have a need for revenge.

Now on the other hand....if you do force me from your land, then our war will become one of naval invasions which will likely both be repelled by our Coastal Artilley (I'll admit, I don't know how powerful that investment is), so we do run the risk of a stalemate.

How do you build a lasting peace out of that?

Depends. I have no wish to betray you. It's just we're right on top of each other and....look, I know how these things go. It usually doesn't end well when an uncomfortable peace is established.

It seems that the superiority bonus is too overpowered. With +10 to your rolls, you pretty much can’t lose. I apologize for that, as people are going to start losing wars simply because they’re a few planes short, but it is what it is. I’m not a good host, but frankly, at least the game shouldn’t last much longer because of it.

Jagopolis has received reinforcements from The New Soviet Republic, giving them the maximum total of planes and ships. The Exceptional Country Of Rocks sent out five ships to attack Jagopolis, but all of them were lost. However, Jagopolis lost two planes and three ships in the process. Jagopolis has advanced again on the coasts.

The Exceptional Country Of Rocks has sent five planes to attack Winterfell. However, two were shot down and only one reached its target, sinking an enemy ship. Winterfell lost an additional two ships due to coastal defenses. However, Winterfell still has superior forces and easily won on all fronts.

Ravenland continues its assault against The Exceptional Country Of Rocks, once again advancing on all fronts. I thought it would go a bit more evenly, since it’s a straight up dice result, but Raven’s +3 due to his second bonus is tremendously useful.

Nouvelle Nova Gallia has successfully pushed Neverozwonderland out of the northern continent. The wall of water has now fallen.

I surrender to capitalist pig Nichols. He can have what is left of my air-force and navy. I really wasn’t doing much this game. I can’t enjoy playing it when I’m hosting it, so I might as well help Jmill out a bit, even though I just helped his enemy.

Alright, Huntsman, so I'm just curious. Do Fortified Artillery and Fortified Anti-Aircraft guns still take effect? Are we still having 5 airplanes fight each other?

All is going quite well! The Ostritches continue their unfettered march to the sea! We will not be halted! Nichols, your days are numbered! All that is left is to think up an appropriately satisfying way of killing you....

Also, I am going to win this war, blah blah blah, la la la, etc.

Anyone else noticed that Mark decided to attack me after the Frenchman decides to kill thousands of people without reason, then sacrifices 50,000 people to continue his war? I say we finish him, and be done with the wars.

But finishing me off won't end the wars. It might for a year so everyone can rebuild, but then somebody's going to rub someone else the wrong way and we'll be back to square one. Different enemy. Same rules.

The Empire claims the small territory along our border with Nichols, and the triangle northeast of that.

Keep up the pressure, troops. We're nearly finished. The Air Force will keep hunting enemy planes, as usual, while the Navy is going to focus on pummeling the enemy coastline.

I think there's a mistake on the first page, Huntsman. Jmill should have 28 planes, not 30.

I surrendered this round, not last round, so he got my planes after his planes got destroyed, pushing him back up to 30.

Mark Nichols has used his doomsday weapon; Ravenland has been shattered, with only a few territories remaining intact, and every nation has lost its investments and background bonuses. Rule The World I rules are now in effect, with one alteration; if you are in an alliance and your ally is at war with the same enemy, you will each receive +2 to your warfare rolls. Nations can now expand to three territories per round, free of charge, since resources no longer exist.
