"Record of Ragnarok Season 3 Premieres December 10"​

"The wait is almost over and the battle for humanity’s fate is heating up once more. Record of Ragnarok will begin its third season starting next month, Netflix announced today.

Record of Ragnarok is based on the manga by Shinya Umemura, Azychika, and Takumi Fukui, The first season of the anime appeared in 2021, followed by the second in 2023. The new trailer, which can be viewed below, reveals this season’s new opening theme, “Dead or Alive” by Japanese rock band GLAY. There will also be a new ending theme, “Last Breath, Last Record” by Saori Hayami, released digitally on the same day as the season premiere.

Here’s the situation: every thousand years, mankind must face the gods in a tournament of battle for the right to exist. 13 of the greatest humans are summoned to Olympus to face off against Apollo, Odin and other ancient gods. They face each other one-on-one, and the humans must win seven out of thirteen rounds to be considered worthy. It’s Ragnarok — at least as this show defines it."
