"Paramount+ (Streaming Service)" News and Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

There's a lot of more obscure shows and movies in the ParGlo library that could enjoy new life on P+.

This is true for any streamer owned by a major media company.

It was a bit meandering, and all over the place. Like every single TV series used to be before basic cable original dramas and streaming. Viewers today have just gotten so damn SPOILED. It's a TV show doing TV show things. Deal with it.

I think Rotten Tomatoes put it well when they said that it just inevitably couldn’t live up to what fans had in their imaginations for 40 years.

If not all the family-friendly programming on P+ is going to have Nick's involvement, I could see CBS Studios teaming with with WildBrain and Nintendo for an Animal Crossing animated series, and also team up with Nintendo, Scott Free, Amblin, and King Size to adapt the StarTropics games into a live-action TV show (programs I originally proposed before the formation of what became Paramount Global and the rebranding of CBS All Access as Paramount+).

Is there a “Halo” tv series thread anywhere. I need to talk about how I love this series. lol

Paramount Global should acquire a minority stake in NFL Media (which includes NFL Films and NFL Network). As part of the transaction, the NFL Films archive would be added to Paramount+, and NFL Films transfers DVD/Blu-ray distribution to Paramount Home Entertainment.

The latter would be important if NFL Films decides to produce scripted content for the NFL Network, which would mainly be about the NFL. This content would also be available on Paramount+. One idea I had was a miniseries dramatizing the tenure of Vince Lombardi as head coach of the Packers.

I wouldn't count on them doing so.

Coming to Paramount Plus in May (in theory, sometimes they don't do their whole list) I am happy to see Paper Moon on the list, there's not much TV on this one.

The Godfather trilogy is now available to watch on the service.

More news, but a switch : "6666" which is another "Yellowstone" spinoff is not coming to Paramount Plus , it's moving to Paramount Network. ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff ‘6666’ Moves From Paramount+ To Paramount Network

Edit: The series "Tooning Out the News" is moving to Comedy Central, and the revival of "Inside Amy Schumer" is moving to CC as well.

Wasn't Paramount Network on the road of being closed, or at least, having a change of programmation type???

Cartoon Network has really helped me cope with some dark times this year.
Starting to be active on the forums again since this is one of the few places I can have informed, good-faith discussion about cartoons.
The Voyo-exclusive Romanian dub of Garfield and Friends goes on with the second season now being relased. I was afraid they will forget about the show after only one season.

As someone who's Portuguese, it just bugs me again that we lost. I wanted Portugal to win this time because this is Ronaldo's last, but no, we think Ronaldo has devolved significantly, and we lost against Spain.
Fowler's Sonic the Hedgehog > Bay's  Transformers. There, I said it.
