Cartoon Network has filed trademarks that they never used in the past, but I'm seeing six trademarks for Mighty Magiswords. The creator also said he's working on something for Cartoon Network on his tumblr. So I think it's safe to say that this show is being made. Thoughts? It's hard to tell if this concept stuff will be representative of the final show, since it hasn't even been formally announced.

TV's Kyle Tumbles for You • Bimm from my Mighty Magiswords concept.

Well, there's new shows currently in production from CN, so this could either be a pilot or a new series.

I think it has to have been greenlit. They don't normally trademark merchandising rights for pilots.

I think they did that for Danger Planet a few years ago.

I follow Kyle on Facebook. From the sounds of things, only a pilot is being made.

this looks pretty cool, ill have keep an eye on this one if there gonna pick it up

Well, I DID bring this up in another thread.

I told you they don't file this many trademarks for pilots.

Cartoon Network

Apparently, it's going to be a digital series. I was hoping it'd air on TV, but I'm excited all the same.
I expect the show to be similar to his webcomic Frog Raccoon Strawberry, which had an ongoing plot, but really wacky humor!
I was also hoping for it to be a TV show, but I'm also excited about that as well.
In the EMEA region it will most likely air on TV, Angelo Rules is a digital exclusive and has aired on EMEA feeds of Cartoon Network before.

im really interested of seeing this show, cant wait see more :)

I really dig the art style and am looking forward to this one. One question I have at the moment is what length will the episodes have, being a digital series. Will it be 11 minute episodes like the TV comedies or shorter?

I wonder that too, unlike traditional webshows, digital series are made so that they can air on TV, if not in the States then abroad. It could be 11 minutes, or the rarely used 7 minute format that CN did back in the day with Dexter's Lab or Cow and Chicken.

Heck, they might even make them 2-5 minute long so they can air them during commercials breaks in some countries. I'm pretty sure that's still a thing.

In the EMEA they'll most likely air on TV, because CN has no digital platforms there. They could upload them on their websites, but they'll most likely fail to reach much views since so far they've only uploaded clips from shows and people won't be used to seeing full episodes there. Heck, I'm not sure CN EMEA's websites even get that much visitors.

The Dutch website never got many visitors.

In 2012, there was a campaign in which you could vote for your favourite old cartoon. They promised to upload a Dutch episode of the cartoon with the most votes.

There were 19 votes in two months:
-The Secret Saturdays (1 vote)
-Sheep in the Big City (3 votes: I and two friends of mine) => WINNER
-Tom and Jerry (1 vote)
And the other 14 votes were for new shows, so they didn’t count XD

According to Kyle over on Facebook. The show's characters will look a little different than what was shown in the artwork. Said artwork isn't even from the press release, but from his Deviantart account that he posted two years ago.

Also the show is already getting tons of fanart and already has a wiki page.

The Magiswords fandom is rising.
But yeah, seeing how the same thing happened to a Tumblr user who got to see the Tome of the Unknown pilot and anxiously reblogged every piece of info about Over the Garden Wall, until weeks or a month after the show had finished its run AND made her own wikia based on the miniseries; this doesn't surprise me. It just means they're getting hyped and are starting to collect as much info as they can.

I love the designs. they seem pretty funny yet stylish and cool. Looking forward to this one!
