In the third-season opener, a new camper arrives and Vinnie and Sunil must entertain him. Meanwhile, Fisher Biskit is puzzled by the pet shop's recent prosperity.

And that was .... my new favorite season premiere. Sunil and Vinnie were awesome. The comedy was spot on. The song was great. The main plot was interesting, as well as the subplot , which resulted in the destruction of Largest Ever Pet Shop. Fisher said,"I will rebuild". As much I like Blythe, I'm glad she didn't play a major role in this episode since it's about the pets. Mr Von Fuzzlebut made an interesting guest pet. Although, I have some negatives. Penny Ling's crush on Mr Von Fuzzlebut seemed unneeded, unlike Sunil's crush in Delilah in The Expo Factor, which helped Blythe out. Also, the Biskits' plot had some weird moments. With that in mind, I give this episode 92/100.

I'm waiting for someone to make a Weekend At Bernie's reference in regards to Sunil and Vinnie's plot.

I liked the Weekend at Bernie's feel of the pets plot, which I thought was pretty enjoyable to watch and it also combined well with the classic Sunil/Vinnie dichotomy that was also in this episode. I also liked the crush thing going on with Penny-Ling, though that part never really concluded and just ran out of steam. I would've liked to see how far that could've went.

The plot with the humans seems to focus more on the Biskits than Blythe, which I thought was kinda odd. It's the season premiere and Blythe hardly has much of a role in it. She's mostly a backwater character here. This could be a good thing now that I think about it; after all I did ask for less human involvement for season 3 and this is something I actually got here. I also notice that the Biskit twins seem more neutral here. Another step in the right direction.

I imagined this episode would be a lot more plot-heavy and maybe introduce something new but it focuses more on the pet shop business rivalry. Not that I have a problem with that, it's just I thought they would do things a little differently. And the answer to Littlest Pet Shop's success is...
drinking water... I think they could've given a better reason for a mom-and-pop business's success than just a water fountain.

Although the pet plot was pretty good IMO, I think for a season premiere they could've given all the other pets beside Sunil and Vinnie a little more screentime. Don't get me wrong, though, as an episode in and of itself, premiere or not, it definitely feels like they're starting to do something right for this season.

A nice start to season 3. First of all I liked Blythe's hair in this episode, I liked all the callbacks from the LPS commercial, to the Pet Fasion Expo, to fun Russell, some nice touches.

So they did a Weekend At Bernie's parodies, that is more for the parents than the kids, I am sure they wouldn't get it. The plot did seem to be more male focused, even the B plot was more Fisher Bisket than the Bisket daughters. This is even more of a sausage episode than "Eight Arms To Hold You" at least that had Blythe played a center role.

But I don't mind we got to see the two best duos do their thing. First of course Vinnie and Sunil, the writers have answered our requests and gave us more Sunil and Vinnie. Though I have to question who has a ratcoon for a pet? I loved the song, that is awesome, I hope we have more of those.

And the b plot, it is a human plot, that doesn't have much to do with Blythe, it is the Biskit family. And I like the way they were written, they were more neutral than out right villains, I guess they are still antagonist being business rivals, but that is pretty much it, they are just comic relief. And I can't help but feel sorry for Fisher, they have a Elmor Feud or Tom feel, that are such losers you can't help but feel pitty for them. And if they had a little more of a underdog status going for them, I might even go as far to say you can't help but root for them. And the Biskits disguices were actully good, I wish they did interact with Blythe more in disguise, maybe we might see some development in their relationship with Blythe.

All and all a good start, looks like we are back to the season 1 type of goodness. I just wish the female pets had more to do, though I liked Penny's crush on Mr. Von Fizzlebutt, she is cute when she flirts. This episode I am sure Gene from the video store will love it, props to anyone that gets that reference.

My thoughts exactly . Season 2 focused more on Blythe, which I liked, but it's nice to have more for the pets as well as Blythe and the pets together.

This is probably the BEST season premiere this show has gotten, IMHO (Missing Blythe was great, but this effort felt more natural and well thought out in general!) - I can say that proudly, but at the same time with a feeling of shame, as I'm reminded this show would be way more popular than it is (even though it still would NOT be as good as Friendship Is Magic, however... ) if it had started out this good, period...

The only real gripe here is that it is just another day at the pet shop. Nothing more, nothing less, besides the Biskits being their usual stupid selves (At least we know where the twins get it from... That "water" idea of yours was not one of your better means of drumming up business for yourself, now was it, Fisher?!)

What matters most importantly is that Blythe (As much as I do like her and all, but this ain't really her show, which we all agree on by now...) didn't need to be on screen all that much to make this overall High Tier episode, IMHO, work. It was all thanks to focus on the pets, specifically Sunil and Vinnie, and their actually funny parodying of Weekend at Bernie's.

Other than that, not too much to write about here, but still enjoyable overall - now here's hoping the next episode can build on this momentum we've got for now.

Technically, she and the pets are the stars of the show. After all, she's a main character along with the pets, but that's besides the point. Anyway, I like this season premiere the most because it's just a regular episode. It didn't try anything too spectacular, and managed to pull out gold. I like risk taking shows as well as epic season premieres, but the simpler, more toned ones really get to me because they don't have to rely on big gimmicks to tell a good story. That's probably why season premieres for shows like Littlest Pet Shop and Pound Puppies are my favorites. That's also part of the reason why I like Littlest Pet Shop more than My Little Pony, which I love. The pets were able to hold up the episode, and Blythe appeared only when she needed to. They kept the focus where they needed it to be. The Biskits' appearance in this episode gives me a different feeling from their most recent appearances. They are not antagonists here. Yes, they are technically antagonists, but more on the business rivalry level than on a personal level. They seem to be neutral here. Also, they followed their father's orders, which they seemed less than pleased with. It shows a new side to the Biskits, in my opinion. With the other season premieres, they focused more on Blythe's character, which I like. However, this premiere focused more on the pets' characters, specifically Sunil and Vinnie, and Penny Ling and Russell to some extent, which I liked. Anyway, the synopses for the next couple of episodes have me generally intrigued. I hope LPS can continue the good work.

Well, if it works (which it surprisingly did here for me this time around, BTW.), I almost... ALMOST honestly prefer a regular GOOD episode over a disappointing premiere or finale that tries a little too hard to grab my interest, myself. I'm not saying don't do it", just "do it well if you must go that extra mile, alright?".

Speaking of future episode synophis, I wouldn't worry about Largest Ever Pet Shop, they will up in running a few episodes from the synophis I read for a future episode. They'll be fine.

Come to think of it, that's actually a good point. At first I had thought of this episode as being more mediocre, but now I realize that it's only because I kept judging it as a premiere episode rather than just an LPS episode. Looking back, this episode is actually pretty good in its own right, but when you expect it to do a lot just because it's a premiere episode, you tend to knock points out of it, and that's actually kinda unfair when you think about it. This is why I've been editing my review a few times throughout the past few hours.

Well I wouldn't mind an epic finale, and this episode made me realize something, actually I thought this for a while, but this episode really brings the point home, if he is suppose to be the evil corporate tycoon, Fisher Biskit is horrible at that, he is not an evil guy, more so ignorant, anyway my point being how about the finale they take on a truly evil corporation.

I know it sounds cartoony, but this is a cartoon for goodness sake, a guy or a woman for that mater, that is worth like 10 times Fisher Biskit is worth or 2 times what Fisher Biskit is worth, and either this corporation opens up Gigantic Pet Shop, and thus LPS and LEPS will have an alliance of convenience as the Walker brothers like to call it. Or maybe this corporation buys out Fisher Biskit and turns LEPS into an even bigger pet shop, and goes to really extreme measures to put LPS, Sweet Delights, and all the mom and pop stores in town out of business, so they can have a monopoly on Downtown City. And Mrs. T will have to admit "as much as I hate to admit it, compare to this, I miss Fisher Biskit." And they have to convince the Biskit family to help them, for the good of the town and if that is not enough reason, for their own egos.

Someone that can be the ultimate villain, the Tirak of LPS. I know LPS doesn't have any real evil villains that want to take over the world and stuff, but in LPS and its slice of life world, that would be their Tirak.

I'm glad to see your opinion on the episode is risen. In the words of Mysterious Mr Enter "I review what an episode is, not what it could be, or even what it should be.". Truer words have never been spoken. That's why I enjoy this episode and the MLP episode "Equestria Games". For what they are, they are really good episodes.

Well after all the times I have seen them be in trouble, LPS business is doing great. So many customers, I haven't seen a business do this great since pre time skip Fairy Tail. Well that gave me a idea, perhaps Fisher there is hope for LEPS, maybe if the gang from LPS went to a remote island, got atttack by a dragon, get saved by an spirit that freezes them in time for 7 years in which they don't age, and than comeback, in the time period they lose so many customers. So there is hope, you just need to find a dragon, and a spirit, and an island. There is hope for LEPS.

I heard a complaint on how the subplots for this episode barely connect, in that they don't affect each other. This has happened before in episodes like "Books and Covers", "Door Jammed", "Lotsa Luck", "What Did You Say", "Grounded", and "Blythe's Big Idea" in that while the plots may inspire each other, they don't connect in some way. So, it doesn't seem far out there to have two plots that don't connect for this episode.

Last night started watching a new adult animated series, a Netflix original that is basically the succesor to Big Mouth.

What is so great? Despite being a 18+ show, they actually bothered to give it a Romanian dub :ack::eek:
