International Nickelodeon Thread Part 14

In my opinion, Nickelodeon New Zealand has not closed but rather has been renamed to Sky Kids, The fact that with the exception of Kiri and Lou (a New Zealand produced show) the channel's schedule is 99.9% Nick content is why I feel this way, To me they have just removed some acquired shows, and replaced the live action with Nick Jr shows and old Nicktoons. but the heavy hitters like SpongeBob and Loud House are still there. It is CN NZ which has closed in my eyes.

There will be more local shows over time, plus a Wiggles Christmas special has been confirmed for this weekend.

And I feel like the missing animated Nickelodeon stuff will gradually get added over time.

I expect that Sky New Zealand might potentially sign long-term deals with Paramount to ensure that the latest Nickelodeon content is always available on Sky Kids day-and-date with Nickelodeon Global.

They are signing. I mean, just because SKY Comedy has Cheers doesn't mean that over time they will add Frasier.

Honestly, when i saw the Rugrats reboot clip in the promo, i was just glad someone was acknowledging it.
Imagine if Season 3 airs on SKY Kids before it does anywhere else.

Nick DE has used their version of the Christmas splat branding for the third year in a row, and it still looks pretty fresh.

So WHY then is it exclusive to there and Italy?! At the bare minimum the UK should have it too, seeing as it is also still a text feed. The version that is used basically everywhere else is a blatant palette swap and an extremely lazy one at that.

Confirmed upcoming Nickelodeon programming for Sky Kids:
The Angry Beavers (mentioned in article)
Hey Arnold! (mentioned in article)
Bubble Guppies (clip in promo)
Rugrats (2021) (clip in promo)
POSSIBLY The Ren and Stimpy Show??? (you can see Ren in the background of the promo)
Not confirmed but probably happening:
Fairly OddParents (original)

Those first two are part of the launch schedule. Rugrats appears to be the 90s show. Unfortunately we don't have NZ users here to corroborate that, and, even with shady streams, no continuity has emerged (yet)

There seems to be a live-action show called "Secrets at Red Rocks" airing on Sky Kids

The show is actually local. I think it aired on SKY Free before and BYUtv picked up the US rights.
But there is a clip from the reboot in the launch promo.
I was confused. But then again TMNT doesn't have a 2012 label on the EPG. Tales will air only when the above show finishes at least one cycle, which is plausible

Wasn't that channel going to shut down?
As known, the Romanian feed has been posponed to next year (2027, 31.12.2026), while Hungarian will be shutdown this year. Probably the CEE Commercial has been posponed as well?

CEE Commercial is the whole feed, but split into 3 opt-outs - Polish opt-out features Polish, Hungarian, English audiotracks, Hungarian - Hungarian and English, Romanian - Romanian and English only. All those 3 are scheduled to be closed on December 31, 2026.

However, due to misunderstanding some cable networks' providers in Poland remove TeenNick Commercial (CEE) recently (an year in advance).

So different incarnations of TMNT and Rugrats seem to have been amalgamated into one single run? Weird.

Not exactly sure. They have CatDog and The Angry Beavers and I thought they'd get the OG Rugrats by default.

Also, i did some research and the latter half of Rugrats (2021) season 2 has exactly zero dubs at the moment. Not even Latin Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese.
Do you think they'll ever continue the show's dubs for season 2b and season 3?

I think the second half of season 2 was only ever aired in the United States on Nicktoons USA and nowhere else. Season 3 on the other hand has literally never been released anywhere in the world and is likely shelved to my knowledge.

I'm also personally doubtful that any dubs of this Rugrats CGI reboot will ever cover any episodes beyond "Baby Talk/Tossed and Found".

To celebrate the fact that I got three weeks off from work for rest, I watched today the latest installment in the separate Minions series of movies. What I loved was the unique logo variation of the Universal logo, which was akin to the plot taking place in the late 1800s

Nicktoons in the US has recently aired something that no one expected: an AI generated ad for an overpriced plush toy.
Not everything from DC and Marvel comics needs to be more like the adaptations.
