DC Portugal continuity from 5th March:
IIRC, the only +1 channel in France was Disney Channel. France was where the format barely caught on, if anything it was likely a necessity from Disney in the core markets.Courtesy of Alexmusic (alexmusic.net - Television Pages), also Zwobot on Digital-Forum, a testcard prior to the launch of Toon Disney, Playhouse Disney and Disney Channel +1 in France on the 2nd of November at 6pm
The launch happened during Zapping Zone on Disney Channel (the channel's live presentation).
Little is known what was shown on the channel themselves on the EPG, aside from this testcard

From the same website, a DC Scandinavia pre-launch promo (shown on the channel before launching) in 2003 on Viasat.
The provider was Corinthian, obviously the same as DC UK

DC Portugal continuity from 5th March:
I miss the days of near-localized playout from Spain for a team that had to tackle both sides of the border, grammatical mistakes and such. In today's INETSAT environment, such mistakes can cover more languages.I find it odd that they accidentally shown the Kiff bumpers in French rather than Portuguese.
Disney Cinemagic also had a +1 in France, in 2006.Little more than a year has passed since the feed lost its independence.

Even more strange was the fact that Toon Disney launched before Playhouse Disney in Italy. There was no centralized launch scheme unlike other countries, they should have launched them along SKY, but then again, their priorities differed. A LOT.
Do you know when PHDC FR used to close down for the night?Disney Cinemagic also had a +1 in France, in 2006.
Keep in mind that until 2006, the Disney expansion in Western Europe heavily focused on the 4 scheme channels: DC, DC+1, Toon Disney, Playhouse Disney.
While DC+1 was not a "Channel", It was treated as such because It was a new strange concept in countries outside of the UK.
But It was almost treated like that in the UK, at times, in promotions.
Toon Disney was easier to launch than Playhouse Disney, as PD in most of Europe, had live presentation until at least 21:00.
While heavily prerecorded, It was more of an investiment than Toon Disney
As seen here, Disney + Cinema has brought in new presentation, promos and idents whilst also still being a test channel. The Disney Channel promos are still standing the test of time.

At 21:00, definitely in 2003 at least.Do you know when PHDC FR used to close down for the night?
I don't care about the delayed launch, for me the channel entered into an advanced state of testingAt 21:00, definitely in 2003 at least.
Earlier than PD UK, but at least DC FR had been 24/7 for ages.
But I do not know when It became 24/7, but definitely was 24/7 by 2005-6.
@RandomMe The Channel hasn't launched though, there are still a lot of things to fix.
Probably though, they had planned to launch today
Cinemagic was such an odd channel here too, you basically got what was a Toon Disney with more moviesDisney Cinemagic also had a +1 in France, in 2006.

Sort of reminds me of what Sky were doing back in the 2000s it's all coming back together. The aurora theming going on with the presentation is just this good. It looks quite nice!
I actuslly liked the concept, although disliking It on paper.Cinemagic was such an odd channel here too, you basically got what was a Toon Disney with more movies
Cinemagic DID at the very least have better variety, in a way I see it like how Disney treated Toon Disney US until Jetix...I actuslly liked the concept, although disliking It on paper.
It made a lot of sense to move DC and PD to basic packages, at One point
