He sais that hes never read a japanese comic and cant because of dislexia or something, but this is contradicted by the fact that hes been quoted saying that Berserk is his favorite manga of all time, the man is clearly a liar.

Watching both the manga and his comic its sooooooo freaking obvious he took it and i mean seriously took a bunch of stuff from the manga, the designs of the characters......i mean wow...... it's like watching an awful american version of Bleach. He's one of those idiots that think that people will pay attention into the violence without making a good story, he even took some quotes from the manga, i mean come on.

It's a good thing that Radical's taking action over this or else they will get in trouble with a big lawsuit.

So, several American fans of Bleach on Twitter have tweeted to Tite Kubo's Twitter account about this. His reply is that he's not too concerned that Simmons plagiarized him; he is ticked though, that Simmons is "technically a mangaka" (his words).

It's one thing to steal, and it's another to steal then foolishly claim it as your own when several people have pointed out the blatant theft (with some nice comparisons with the original). After stealing, the best a person can do is admit it, apologize, never do it again, and hope that their credibility is one day regained.

But this guy isn't doing any of this. I don't feel angry towards him, I feel pity, and some embarrassment that such terrible liars like this exist out there.

I do feel a little angry at this, though. He, as an art thief, groups himself with all the other hard-working artists who put out honest works. I want to live on my own art someday, but this guy just lives upon others' art.
(and also the fact he uses these accusations to advertise his book even more)
