Apparently, Discovery Family is going to air ParaNorman on November 2nd at 9PMET , been airing on Freeform all this month and Disney XD a couple times. Kind of random of Discovery Family.

They're also premiering Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted this month, the movie previously aired on FX networks and Nickelodeon.

Honestly, after watching Discovery Family for a few hours today, I'm surprised how much the channel changed since it's rebranding back in 2014. I was legitimately surprised that if Cake Boss isn't running a marathon of episodes, then it's crammed with other live action shows. Same thing applies to My Little Pony, of course, it's the main reason why the Hub proved to be so successful back during its early days, but still.

I don't know, truthfully, the best time to watch Discovery Family is from 2 am - 4 am. They play G.I Joe Renegades, Transformers Prime and other classics.

I personally have stopped caring for this channel after 2015. I miss Hub because that’s when I enjoyed MLP the most, they also had reruns of Batman, Tiny Toons, and Animaniacs, and they had much better promos and bumpers.

Considering that their big hit MLP: FiM is ending, the channel probably won’t be as popular as it was but that depends if the new MLP does very well but I highly doubt it’ll make the same impact.

It might a more minor network to Discovery like the others that didn't get announced like AHC, Discovery Life, Great American Country , DIY (but they are going away next year) , Destination America. I'm guessing anything announced for Discovery family if anything will be announced by Hasbro.

Now that you mentioned it...I didn't see any of those networks in that press either.

DIY Network isn't going away next year, they're just rebranding it to something called "Magnolia Channel..."

Discovery announced on April 1st, their streaming service that will global except UK, Ireland, and China and it will have BBC documentary content. Would this service have Discovery Family content on it or just every other network?

MLP is ending and the next series is supposed to be heading elsewhere. Rescue Bots Academy is the only animated show currently on the schedule with new episodes in the pipeline. Hanazuki looks like it's over, same with Littlest Pet Shop.

IIRC Hasbro's contractual commitment to the channel ends very soon. Like next year. It's possible Discovery Family either shuts down or gets rebranded.
