What does everyone think the ratings will be for the Gravity Falls finale?

I think it will get 4 million viewers across Disney XD and Disney Channel.

^ At the highest I would say 3 million, of course if advertising goes well, anything higher than that could be possible but that sounds really rare even for a series finale.

^^ If it's only on XD, then 3 million after Live+7. If it airs simultaneously on DC, then over 6 million.

The highest it would get would be 5 million.

For 2015, Disney Channel is the #1 cable TV network in Total Viewers (1.234 million) in Total Day measurement, a first for the channel and the end of Nickelodeon's long-running streak. Disney Channelalso delivered its 5th straight yearly win in Kids 6-11 (423,000/1.8 rating), 7th consecutive yearly win in Tweens 9-14 (406,000/1.7 rating) and tied for #1 in Kids 2-11 (1.6 rating). The success was leveraged by the premieres of the Disney Channel Original Movies "Descendants" and "Teen Beach 2" and the Disney Junior primetime movie "The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar" - the year's Top 3 most watched telecasts in Total Viewers across all kids cable TV networks - and the series launches of "BUNK'D" and "K.C. Undercover."

Disney Channel towered over runner-up Nickelodeon by its largest margin on record in Tweens 9-14 (+92% - 406,000 vs. 212,000) and by its 2nd-largest margin ever in Kids 6-11 (+29% - 423,000 vs. 328,000).

"The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar" (11/22/15, 7:00 - 7:55 p.m.) ranked as the #1 primetime cable TV telecast of 2015 in Kids 2-5 (1.7 million/11.1 rating) - and #2 overall in the target demographic - and was the #1 animated telecast across kid cable-TV networks among Total Viewers (6.1 million), Adults 18-49 (2.1 million/1.6 rating) and Kids 2-11 (3.0 million/7.7 rating).

Disney Channel ratings highlights for 2015.

It looks like Disney had a great year, especially for beating Nickelodeon for the first time in total viewers for the year.

It looks like Disney had a great year, especially for beating Nickelodeon for the first time in total viewers for the year.

Deadline says that Nickelodeon won Kids 2-11 however. I know the Disney press release says they tied, but I think Disney would have preferred having a true sweep. For the non Nick Jr. programming, Nickelodeon's ratings are strongly connected to the very high count of Spongebob and Alvin airings each day.

The Gravity Falls "A Tale of Two Stans" is the highest rating on Disney XD this year with 2.3 million viewers.

The Voyo-exclusive Romanian dub of Garfield and Friends goes on with the second season now being relased. I was afraid they will forget about the show after only one season.

As someone who's Portuguese, it just bugs me again that we lost. I wanted Portugal to win this time because this is Ronaldo's last, but no, we think Ronaldo has devolved significantly, and we lost against Spain.

Conflicted about the upcoming film adaptation of Children of Blood and Bone, given the creator now distancing herself from it despite co-writing the screenplay and blocking one of the actresses on social media despite defending her casting in the film.
