Discontinued/Rare DVDs That Need to be Re-Released

God help you if you try to track down Turtles Against Hate... that sucker is darn near impossible to find.

Just picked up Invader Zim: Complete Invasion from Best Buy for $24.99 this past Friday. Guess that's a good deal, right?:D

Two simple words, Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon.

Though if it did, I might be a little upset after the money spent for it on Ebay.

I did the same for Tenchi. That's another one that should be rereleased.

Well whoever is going to distribute Yu-Gi-Oh and Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's Hopefully the discontinued titles of the Original Yu-Gi-Oh like Complete 1st-3rd Seasons, will be re released!! or to be smart with 4Kids Money to Release Yu-Gi-Oh The Complete 4th Season on DVD.

Any chance Nickelodeon/Viacom will re-release 2K3 on dvd in 2014 for TMNT's 30th anniversary?

There will probably be something, but it may not be 2K3.

I don't have much knowledge of what's rare and what isn't, but Clone High should be reprinted, I'll say that much. So should ReBoot, but that'll never happen.

Why was this thing bumped? Nearly every post in it is old and discredited.

-Sonic X
-Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends Season 2 (either through the Archive or by Shout! Factory and the same goes for the remaining seasons)
-Bad Taste (by Severin, Synapse, or Scream/Shout! Factory)
-Muppets From Space Widescreen Edition
-Space Goofs (released through Shout! Factory)

Definitively Invader Zim. The Media Blasters DVDs were awesome, not only because of being something unexpected to be released for me, but also because of the bonus content, and the only Nick series that is available entirely with the Latin Spanish dub (my native language).

Ed Edd n Eddy, for me. They only released up to Season 2 in the States (and, thanks to Madman, up to Season 3 in Australia).

I'd rather have physical copies, but I think the entirety of EENE got released digitally. Though I don't think my blasted Blu-Ray player will stream iTunes stuff.

I'd love to see Criterion Collection would re-release the Jean Pierre Melville films.
Especially "Le Samourai". Yes, even Guillermo del Toro poked fun of my fascination of Alain Delon.

Invader Zim should definitley be re-released by Shout! Factory, I only have Volume 1 and the Special Features DVDs of the Media Blasters releases.

If anything, The Ren and Stimpy Show should be re-released, and this time completely unedited. I didn't bother with those "Uncut" sets because they had a handful of edits.

It's a terrific film, but the Criterion disc of Le Samourai is still in print. I wish it was on Blu-Ray, but still, it is out there.

Le Samourai got a botched restoration recently by Pathe, the same yahoos who screwed up the Children of Paradise restoration. If Criterion gets a different master, great. But one would assume they get the same as the french blu ray when they release the BD.

Le Samouraï | Blu-ray: FR vs. DVD: US

Anyway, getting back on topic, I'd like to see Remo Williams, Streets of Fire, Hell Comes to Frogtown and The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension on BD.

As for Criterion, I'd rather they concentrate on finally getting some of the stuff out that they've been holding hostage for years, instead of all these re-releases lately. Satyajit Ray's films finally coming out has been a good start, but where are the Kiju Yoshida films? How about some more Mikio Naruse and Edward Yang? Let's start building a fanbase for these guys. Did Criterion forget that Ozu wouldn't be as popular as he is today had they not started finally releasing his stuff back in the day? Now they can't get enough of the guy.

The people need to have it. But now your only chance of getting it is as a used copy on amazon.

Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
