CN Schedule Updates

When the movie comes out next year and when the show will be ending prepare for 1 month of nothing but Teen Titans Go!. I'm serious. Only that way, if they actually air also something else, your expectations will be low and you'll be pleased.

You had me until this part. At most, I think a marathon around the time of the movie would be a full week at most; most likely not even that. Surprisingly, movies based off TV shows don't seem to be hyped by the networks as much as you'd expect them to be. Believe it or not, even CN has standards.

Maybe I exaggerated a bit on that last part, being upset and all, but would it honestly surprise you given the royal treatment this show has been getting? The movie coming out, and then eventually airing on CN, along with the show ending will be big events. Everything that came before that, and which got a whole week of slots, will look minor. What makes you think if they're crazy enough to ruin Christmas they won't be crazy enough to destroy the network and won't spam the show for more than a week?

Also, I'm kind of surprised you seem to agree with what I wrote in the paragraphs above. Thought we'd be arguing about the app and whatnot, but it seems that even you realized that in this case there's a problem.

By the way, I didn't write what I wrote just for the sake of it. I really feel like this is just mocking the holidays and traditions and it is utterly said if I consider what could be airing instead.

First of all, this isn't quite Christmas-ruining territory. It would need to leave an actual real-life impact to go that far.

But beyond that, I get the feeling that they are aware they'd lose the trust of the kids if they did air the show more than a week. They're obviously gone beyond their limits with many older fans, but their target audience - specifically those who watch TTG - are definitely the ones who matter the most to the live feed. They can get away with 4-day marathons, since those are usually done at times when they'd be up to something else anyway (Christmas being one of those). But more than a week in the middle of the summer will definitely be long enough for them to catch on and get beyond tired of what they saw.

And yes, I am aware about OK KO's premiere week (probably the single worst case of this), but as ridiculous as it was, that at the very least had the distinction of constantly throwing material new to that week (a good 2 1/2 hours worth between NBTS and OK KO). The TTG movie is only 70 minutes.

Don't get me wrong, I still don't think there's much of a point in constantly complaining about this (I'm mostly referring to people outside this forum) because of the mere fact that such an easy way out exists. But that doesn't mean I don't see the problem, like I did here. I just don't express any distaste I do have toward these because literally everyone else does for me (not at all helped by them usually going well over-the-top).

I know this is a schedule thread, but there should be an On Demand thread if there is one around this forum! I found "Grim & Evil" On Demand! I don't know how long it's been on there, but I was stunned when I saw the title and I couldn't believe it until I saw the intro! I mean all of those Billy & Mandy episodes can still be seen on "Grim Adventures" but they brought back the 2 Maxwell Atom shows combined into one! Sorry if I'm late. I have Charter. CN has a lot of good Christmas stuff "On Demand". I could care less about the schedule because it's the same ol' same ol' story. I also saw Cartoon Planet back on On Demand too.

It hasnt been unheard of, according to TV Tropes, Boomerang UK did a "scooby summer" consisting of nothing but Scooby Doo all summer long.

Just a schedule note here, but according to zap2it, it looks like Teen Titans is back in the afternoon for an additional full hour at 4PM starting tomorrow (After airing exclusively at 6AM last week).

Wow! Thanks for showing me that that they are other alternatives(Again) but however the wall with the door has become unhinged and rusted really badly. Maybe we could give suggestions for how to fix that or is there alternatives for that too?

You can give suggestions on how to fix it for sure, but yelling at the door is about as effective as yelling at the wall.

And there is another alternative. It's finding a different door on a different wall. I feel like one shouldn't follow something they know they're just going to be annoyed by, at least if it's not doing any physical harm.

You are absolutely right. No one should be yelling at the door but instead maybe just help the door put it's hinges on again. While being in perfect health.

If you are going to complain about the TTG spamming, do so in a much more productive way that might actually help the situation.

Yeah they did for Thanksgiving. I don't understand why they can't decrease the marathon and show other things I mean it's supposed to be Christmas.

I actually like Teen Titans Go and think It's a great show, but they really need to stop with the marathons and give other shows a chance too. Does Cartoon Network think Teen Titans Go is the only thing people like?

They did a marathon, but it wasn’t an every episode marathon.

And it only has like 5 shows airing specials (though TTG and RS have multiple ones), and two showings of Myers' Cat.

...How cheap is that film to run anyway?
