The one with the female agent he's constantly trying to bone? Yeah, that's more evidence.

This episode was great. Foreshadowing Jin's past and just overall bringing Champloo back up from last week. Nice touch with the beatboxing lacky, I once tryed that at my school, where you know how those circles form outside the lunchroom, and it gets tiring. Cheeks tingled afterwards.

Funny how the episode before was totally forgotten by Fuu and others. Oh well, the way it goes. No squirrel? damn..

Not bad. The beatboxing was a nice touch, and the story was prety interesting. I can't wait to find out more about Jin. While we're at it, we still haven't found out about Mugen either!

Anyway, 8/10

I enjoyed this episode much more than last weeks. The bandit beatboxing was funny and the guy showing Fuu his "autobiography" was hilarious. I knew the lady would drug Mugen since it happened to him before(man he never learns). Nice little background on Jin. It should be interesting to see his full backstory. I did not think that lady was the guy's wife, but the end with them on the ship had me laughing. I'm going to assume that we never meet the bandits again?

It would be cool if there was a link between Champloo and Bebop. A continuity, kinda like the DCAU.

Pretty good episode, and it was mainly because of that funky samurai and his live beat box. There were other good moments too, though.

I give Art of Altercation a B+.

Actually... I was really hoping that they'd make an episode like that. "Samurai Funk" would've been awesome.

Yeah, I suppose that could have worked in a way. Eh, wouldn't have complained much had it happened, but in a way am glad it didn't. Champloo has it's own charm, and wouldn't need to rely on Bebop ties. If you have, like, a dream one night about both shows fusing then I'd imagine it'd be fun.

All they would have to do is add some small comment linking One character to another or something. Like meeting another female character named Faye or Telling that Mugen last name is the same as spike.

That would be awesome.
