I wanna talk about the 'boy band'. Every decade has one or several of them, which is your favorite(s)? NOTE: No bashing, mocking or anything else! Keep it respectful, above all!!!!!! I'll start with two of them:

Jackson 5 (RIP Michael and Tito Jackson)

One Direction was a really cool boysband back then, they had few songs that I did like. I have a big respect to this band even after the disband back in 2016, but after Liam Payne's shocking death I think is safe to say that nothing will ever be the same.

However, when it comes to recent boysbands I do like Zerobaseone (Korean boysband formed last year), they have quite nice style of music yet I only know like three or four songs.

On the American side, I've always been a fan of New Edition, although I wasn't born or too young during their heyday. On the Korean side, I'm a fan of groups like Stray Kids, 2PM and EXO. On the Japanese side, I like groups like Snow Man, SixTONES, Travis Japan and Psychic Fever from Exile Tribe.

I've been a New Edition and Jackson 5 fan, probably from birth. I like NKOTB but I was secretly a big Backstreet Boys and N*Sync fan growing up. Once i get to the point that i know all the members names, i guess im a fan. I grew up on a lot of R&B groups like Dru Hill, Boys II Men, Jagged Edge, etc. With K-Pop, I've liked some Stray Kids and BTS stuff. 4*Town was a big highlight of Turning Red.

Eiffel 65, Five and Backstreet Boys were my entrance into appreciating boy bands and the most notable ones I think of, especially on being the 90s Boy Band image.

Here's a boyband whom didn't really get a lot of shine: Jimmy Briscoe and the Little Beavers

Ever since One Direction went on hiatus, there hasn't been a boy band that has hit big in the West. I think the closest one to have a chance to break out was the American boy band Why Don't We but disputes with their managers forced them to go on a long hiatus.

I've been keeping my eye out on an upcoming British boy group called DearAlice. They were formed between this British company and SM Entertainment, a powerful South Korean entertainment company that has many popular K-pop groups. There was a reality series that aired on British tv and they're suppose to debut either late this year or early next year.

You forgot about PRETTYMUCH

Who here remembers the Barrio Boyzz?

The Osmonds (in cartoon form)

Who remembers Take That?

I actually created a thread last year about musical acts that were big worldwide except in the U.S. and Take That were one of the examples. And when there was a chance for them to breakthrough in America, they broke up.

Backstreet Boys or *NSYNC?

Pretty sure at least "Back for Good" was a big hit here in the States. it still gets radio play on soft rock stations.

Is that Joan Cusack voicing Jessie in that Toy Story Papa John's commercial? If so, it sounds rough. Woundn't surprise me if it wasn't, though.
