A Shower Question

When do you usually take showers?

Afternoon-Evening. Some time between 7 and 10, usually, but sometimes earlier. I don't like showering in the morning during the school year. I have enough to do then already, between breakfast, getting dressed, brushing teeth, and all that. I don't want to have a shower too. I have more time at night, so I'll just have a shower then.

I usually take a shower during the evening or around 10/11pm. I occasionaly will take a shower in the morning, like usually when I have to go out for the day somewhere.

I prefer to shower when everyone is asleep, so that I have privacy. Usually, I shower before bed, but sometimes in the morning, after Dad has left for work and while my brother is still asleep. I like showering before bed, though, because you wake up feeling clean and it just makes your day better.

Yet another petpeeve of mine (where is that thread?): I don't like saying good morning to people, and I've come to realize my family doesn't either when they wake up. So why should I slap on a smile first thing? -_-
Oh science, don't even talk to me for at least fifteen minutes after I crawl out of bed. I will snap your neck like a glowstick if I even hear just a 'hello' or 'good morning', let alone someone asking me to do something that day. Ohhh... Kury in the Morning is scary.

I'm pretty much the same way. I've told people, "I'm up by 9, but not awake until 10." Haha!!

As for showering, almost exclusively throughout my life I've showered at night. During the school year, the mornings were just too hectic and having to shower would have had me getting up even earlier than usual. So I almost always showered at night, about an hour or two before bedtime.

Nowadays, I still shower at night, but I've been taking more showers during the morning in the last couple of months. As I've been letting my hair grow out, it's usually a real mess in the morning and needs a quick rinse to tame and get under control. But I still save the "real showers" (ie. deep shampooing, more extensive cleaning, face washing, etc.) for nighttime showers. I'm just not a morning person, and the idea of rolling out of bed still half-asleep, striping naked, and getting in the shower just doesn't motivate me in the morning.

I have to shower at night. I'm not neurotic about much, but one thing I am is keeping my room and bed clean. To me, sleeping is when you regenerate - you lose all the troubles of the previous day and rest for the next. So the idea of going into bed dirty from the previous day just bothers me - I need to be fresh and clean when I go to bed.

I suppose it helps that I'm a cool sleeper - if it's hot enough for me to actually sweat while I'm sleeping, then I'm probably not sleeping. I usually sleep naked or close to it with at least a fan on in the summer. So, I never wake up grungy and sweaty - I usually wake up just as refreshed and clean as I was going into bed. Bedhead? Just rinse it in the sink and slap some gel in their, and I'm good to go.

I take a shower before I go to bed, and one in the morning depending on how my hair is and if I was busy during the day.

I'm the same. The morning shower greatly depends on my hair. But yes, often times I shower more than once a day.

Showering generally happens in one of three cases:

#1. Before I leave the house to do anything.

#2. Whenever I come home from from doing whatever it was I was doing outside (provided i was doing something strenuous to begin with).

#3. When I need to "freshen up" when we have guests over.

But don't you see?? DON'T YOU SEE??? By getting up at 8:30 and showering first, it gives you the preemptive push to be awake by the time anyone see's you. Therefore you're more pleasant amongst peers, and are generally in better shape to take on the day's load.

Hoorah for Morning Showers.:D

Both in the morning and at night. I go for a 2 hour run in the morning so I have to shower to get off all that sweat. And as the day goes by I get dirty (not that kind of way!:D ) and I have to shower again at night. Plus showering at night helps me sleep better. I hate going to sleep knowing that I'm filthy.

I hope you guys use lotion because showering more than once a day dries out your skin like no other.

See I shower before bed for exactly the same reason. I want to feel clean going into bed at night. I just sleep better that way.

At college, I always take it at night.

Otherwise, I take it whenever I feel like it.

I always take it in the morning because it wakes me up, but because I feel like crap if I don't. If I take one at night (and sometimes I do) I don't feel right going to bed.

Even when I had to get up at 5:30 to be to class for 8:30, if I didn't shower I probably STILL wouldn't be awake by the time I got to class. Now I just try to take later classes.

i shower at nite.

I forgot that there is a time limit on showering at night... I fell asleep in the shower, again, last night. >.< Just for a few minutes, I think, but hell if that's not hazardous. xD

.................I am nothing short of impressed by your level of balance. ._.

...

I can't wake up without a shower. Alarm goes off, two hours later I'll roll out of bed and make my way to the shower.

I never told you that showers make me sleepy? Something about the loud, constant sound of water beating against my skin or the tub... it's just comforting. I can usually distract myself enough when I'm not that tired, but it was 4am last night, and I dunno about you, but I'm uber unfocused around that late. ><

I remember closing my eyes and thinking I was in my bed, sleeping, but I heard the water, and realized, ohsnap, I fell asleep again.

Wow, you actually fell asleep in the shower? Well a few times when I was taking a bath, I was pretty close to falling asleep, especially if I was tired.

Everyone applause these two characters, for soon getting their own spin-off full animated series!!! (who would have expected a series with PB and Marceline anyway? I know they have an upcoming comic book series which will go well with)

Watched Toy Story 5 today. It felt like another awesome escapade for the characters, while also they taught an important lesson: it's ok to be different, especially if you still like to play with toys. Lily turned from an antagonist to a hero of the movie, because of realising exactly that.
