  • Why are some people on here not buying my recent posts regarding that The Loud House didn’t get cancelled, per the sources I put up?

because It’s a rumor as of now.
@RegularCapital Which UK broadcaster do you think will pick up WBA & Anderson Entertainment's "Hit Squad"? Do you think it would be ITV (since they’ve broadcasted Gerry Anderson’s works before) or perhaps Channel 4 (since they’re more willing to allow mature content)?
    RegularCapital

I think you're right, we know it will be on HBO Max, it could go to any broadcaster, but I think it will likely go to ITV (specifically ITV2), due to its historic relationship with Gerry Anderson shows, if not Channel 4 (which will be looking for shows to fill the gap), or Sky who will still maintain a relationship with HBO.
I feel that Warner Bros. and Cartoon Network will just end up scrapping their current upcoming projects and cancel their Annecy 2025 presentations because of the announced WBD split. At least it’s looking like Cartoon Network Studios will be entirely folded into Warner Bros. Animation.
@awinger24 Will you PLEASE not fret about Pixar being forced to make sequels, or Hoppers being sent to Disney+ if Elio flops? You need to relax, because I highly doubt that will happen. Plus, I’m sure they’ll crank up originality after Iger is gone.

@awinger24 the pandemic era is gone and Disney isn't going to turn Pixar into direct film to Disney+ machine, otherwise it will lessen the profit margin for whole Disney - they aren't stupid.

I definitely get that. I just don’t want to imagine Pixar being a sequel factory much like how Marvel and Lucasfilm are. Disney bets big on franchises and audiences are shifting focus away from mediocre slop that gets reworked and meddled to the brim.

I’ve read the profiles of Alan Bergman and Josh D'Amaro on The Walt Disney Company’s official website, and since they’ve been at Disney since 1996 and 1998 respectively, I think they should both become the new co-CEOs if they go for an internal candidate (taking a page from Netflix). Perhaps they know some tricks from the legendary Michael Eisner.
@Moe It feels like, to me, that what you said about a full Disney+/Hulu merger that I suggested makes it sound like you doubt it.

@Moe Maybe they’ll fully merge Hulu and Disney+ under the regime of Iger's successor, whether it is their idea/choice or not.

@Elijah Abrams I can’t say further and Disney don’t follow some of plans. CEO isn’t sole that involve with decision-making, also their streaming entity make decision too. CEO cares about shareholders and investors most.

Also, I'm not comfortable to predict because Disney and other major studios change their plans frequently, so that why I said don't know about further. Streaming era is still new and they have to tweak a lot, so change the plans often until one work well.

Whether Disney/Hulu is/isn't merge, that isn't affect you and it is just affect the investors and shareholders, much less with customers.
I definitely believe Bob Iger should leave Disney ASAP, not 2026. He's getting old, he's starting to lose his Disney luster (like early 2000s Michael Eisner), and he's more corporate than creative (enough with the sequel/remake/IP schtick already!). I think, for his successor, Disney should take a page out of Netflix's book and make both Alan Bergman & Dana Walden the new co-CEOs (like Ted Sarandos & Greg Peters).

He is going to be out of CEO within 5 years after started in 2022 and however, get rid of him isn't going to fix the problems with Disney, such as live action remakes, endless sequels and play too safe are going to continue until they are completely recovered from pandemic, probably sometime before 2030s.

It could take years for Disney to restore to its old glory after Bob Iger permanently steps down from CEO.

@kanc What were the episodes in the "Secret Agent Loud" compilation?

    kanc
In airing order: Beg, Borrow and Steele / High Crimes / Present Danger / Lights, Camera, Nuclear Reaction / Pop Pop the Question / Steeling Thunder
@kanc Could you please check and notify me if two new Loud House segments aired at 7pm today? I'm hoping the show will do the same thing Rock Paper Scissors, The Patrick Star Show, and SpongeBob SquarePants have done recently.

Let's Break a Deal aired at 7:15pm, and it's also new.

@kanc @Eurbane I figured. I mean, Nick definitely wants to have Season 7 finished up, since Season 8 begins next Monday.

yeah that could be a possibility that other remaining season 7 episodes could be unexpected/surprising, just like SpongeBob, Patrick Star Show, Rock Paper Scissors. So I could definitely see season 7 finishing up this week..

Welcome to social media and they got full of rude people. I avoid public posts like plague.
This is why big corporations need to get their act together when it comes to animation! Perhaps they should sponsor YouTube indie animations?

Last I heard, Bob Iger was only going to stick around for another year or 2 until he and Disney find a worthy successor.

I appreciate the article, but trying to get out of my doom and gloomness so I can behave myself better. Also, this is just a test survey.
@Silverstar As a response to this comment you made, maybe Netflix or Apple could take in 20th Century Studios if Disney decided to sell it?

It doesn't really who the best buyer for 20th Century Studios would be if Disney's not interested in selling it.

    *whoosh*
One mo' time: Disney's not looking to sell 20th Century Studios, so lining up potential buyers for it is pointless. It's like looking for the perfect condiment after you've eaten the sandwich.
Nick wants to kill off all their non-Paw Patrol shows by moving their premieres to the Nick Jr. channel, because of that Every Paw Patrol Ever event in October! They are fricking dumb!
    Moe
    Moe
@kanc because Blaze and the Monster Machines is high rated show and Nickelodeon isn't going to remove until rating drops enough to be delisted from Nick Jr's lineup.

The lack of new episodes or haven't announce about new season aren't reason to be delisted, so it is all about rating.

with Blaze announced for season 8 recently, also remember i complained Blaze was still airing reruns on NickJr block? now it turns out to be true, as Blaze reruns were off NickJr block as of started earlier this week. It will still be shown on NickJr channel

I careless for Paw Patrol. No offense!

Watched Toy Story 5 today. It felt like another awesome escapade for the characters, while also they taught an important lesson: it's ok to be different, especially if you still like to play with toys. Lily turned from an antagonist to a hero of the movie, because of realising exactly that.
