So we are expecting to see new episodes until November 15 then, wanted to be in October but November still goodLooking at the schedule, it seems as if they are going to start from episode 1 again and then lead all the way back up to episode 10. So once Battle of the Hum___ reairs in natural order we will get a new episode.
Hey, just because I don't watch the show anymore and think it's awful, it doesn't mean I'm not interested in news & speculations about it.....then why are you on this thread?....
Yeah, noticed a while ago that SDMI seriously brings out the worst in me. Despite my username I'm usually a pretty nice and less annoying person, but this show just pushes all my wrong buttons.Seriously Ranting you're being a bit nagging on the whole Velma and Fred,
As long as the "very special" episode doesn't involve a guest appearance by Gordon Jump, I'm excited for it...
Odd choice. However, you're safe - Jump passed away in 2003.
I would say episode 10 would air around the last week of October/Beginning of November. Unless they count the Scooby movie as part of the schedule then probably mid November then. And take December/January or Dec-Feb off.
Gordon Jump starred in the quintessential "very special episode" of Diff'rent Strokes back in the 80's. A dated reference, to be sure.
A halloween episode would be awesome to watch and i would go more for the Thanksgiving episode than a Christmas episode of course lets see if they make it interesting. When you mention Thanksgiving i kinda pic Eli Roth's fake trailer movie from Grindhouse, of course without the gore and you know the rest.Once you mentioned the connection - I remembered the ep you were referring to. Hopefully it won't be anything that damaging.
I'm hoping for at least the following themes to remaining episodes (at least those airing before 2011):
- A Halloween episode - some would say it's redundant, given the spooky designs laid out for the show in general; but it couldn't hurt to have more silly costumes (maybe Velma will join in this time) and up the scare factor a bit.
- If they forego Halloween, I'd love a Thanksgiving episode! Maybe a giant turkey attacks the town! It could also be a great way to talk about the town's colonial history.
- A Chistmas episode - The last Christmas themed ep that I know of was from WNSD and quite frankly I hated it. They barely touched on the holiday and it felt like it was added in at the last minute. It was as if there was a ski episode planned at a resort and they thought, "Hey let's add Xmas decorations and make it the Xmas episode!". I want to see Christmas come to Crystal Cove - I don't mind if they rip off the usual themes ("It's a Wonderful Life", "A Christmas Carol", et al) as long as the spirit of the holiday comes through. They could also use it to introduce other family members (Forget Scooby Dum! I want to see "Uncle Nat"!!) If they make it an hour long ep, I'd consider it a bonus!
- An episode showing the gang earlier in their childhoods - maybe showing how they met (I know this was done in the live action prequel, but this series indicates the gang knew each other since 8th grade if not earlier).

Then you sir/madame are this: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ptitlexxpmjrh25rbgHey, just because I don't watch the show anymore and think it's awful, it doesn't mean I'm not interested in news & speculations about it.

We have seen scooby snacks but doesn't have an important role yet in the show. I don't remember but i think the guys from the show mention that the scooby snacks will show up more often in later episodes. So what happened to the scooby snacks in this serious?
My other son wants to know: “Hey, where are the Scooby Snacks?”
They’re around, just not as prominent. We mentioned them in the first episode, and they reappear in Episode 14, which is a very special episode for the fans. Other than that, Scooby Snacks have kind of been replaced by clams in this series.

Well then you won't know what I said to you.I didn't click the link, because TV Tropes is one of the other things that I can't stand to the point of becoming an annoying jerk when talking about what I dislike about it.
(Now just don't mention Quentin Tarantino either and we are okay.)

In all honesty, I wouldn't mind seeing Scrappy-Doo and hearing about his disappearance since the 80s. Not counting the evil out-of-character Scrappy from the live action movie. I know a lot of people don't like Scrappy, but it would be nice just for one episode to see him and have him 'splain why he hasn't been around.
