Broadcast Order: Season 7, Episode 9
Production Order: Season 6, Episode 13

Remember how much everyone hated the Bill Clinton episode? Guess who's on tonight. O.J. Simpson!

Plot:
Peter cashes in a winning 1989 raffle ticket and wins a round of golf with O.J. Simpson. Peter, who had been unaware of Simpson's notoriety, thinks this is a fine idea.

I'll just wait until the episode to say something.....

That being said, so are they being consistent with the episodes now or will they start jerking around the schedule?

They really are running out of ideas.

This type of plot was done. TWICE.

First with James Woods (which was pretty funny, actually)

Then with Jesus (I think you guys liked that one)

Now, it's O.J. Simpson, who is, by the way, in jail right now, so the timing couldn't be any more...what's the word? Oh, whatever.

EDIT: Make that a 4th time, forgot to include Bill Clinton.

Okay, what are they going to say with this episode that THREE CUTAWAYS (at least from what I remember), not to mention infinite pokes from The Simpsons and South Park couldn't say?

Bad timing, cause OJ is already in jail. Too bad Family Guy doesn't have the ultra-fast production schedule that South Park has.

More like "too bad they hold back premieres for as long as they do".

I would actually expect South Park to do an episode like this.

It's kind of late to be making O.J. Simpson jokes now, isn't it? Mind you, I know that this episode was made several months in advance, but in what way could the FG writers parody O.J. that hasn't already been done in the past 15 years?

South Park would have done this episode, or an obvious parody of O.J.'s current situation, the week it happened, which would have put it in last season's batch of episodes.

Oy vey.
I have doubts about this.

It was somewhat understandable for early in Family Guy's return to miss out on certain jokes, like one where Meg interrupted an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond only after the show ended. Now they have a poor habit of bringing stuff up too long after the fact.

See what happens when you leave people waiting for eternity?

God, I remember laughing my arse off from that gag. :D

This episode is just about to start.

I'm wondering if I should stay out of this thread. Things could get ugly.

EDIT: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA at the disclaimer before the theme song. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Ah-ha! They're writing it off as a "lost episode" that takes place in 2007!

Clever move.

Peter Griffin Jr. was kinda messed up.

But you help balance out the hate toward the show. Without you, every one of these threads would quickly devolve into rants.

And apparently, this is a lost episode.

And... Peter killed his first son. Hmm.

"It's just two guys making out, relax!"

Ah, good to see Brian back in form.

And...ohhh..Diablo Cody!

AND ROBIN WILLIAMS! Brian is back, baby!

Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
