Family Guy - "Stewie is Enceinte" - Talkback [3/8]

I'm just sorry a few of the puppies died. But at least four of them survived, including Finn. Maybe, in the upcoming musical episode mentioned in the commentary for "Christmas Guy", not only would Vinny reappear, but also Finn.

To be honest half way through I thought this episode wasn't gonna be that bad. At least I liked the B plot somewhat. It involved okay visual gags satirizing the internet.

This episode just goes downhill when Stewie actually gets pregnant. The plot is indeed stupid but at least Brian didn't get Stewie pregnant and I still love it when they elaborate that Stewie's an evil genius even for the slightest moment. Also, this isn't the first male pregnancy plot seen in cartoons, The context being between a dog and a baby is however unsettling. So when he gets pregnant he cross dresses again acting like a mother, they make all these cliche and seen before male mom jokes. That part doesn't even stick out that much but the other two scenes that do stick out really bring this episode in to the worst of the worsts.

#1) That one where Stewie poses naked for the camera while pregnant while trying to show affection for Brian. It's just really desperate and another typical example of why the show is nothing like it used to be.

2) When Stewie gives live birth in the car. He makes a mess and there's fluid on the windshield and then Brian screaming at him making a mess. It's another long non-gag that didn't really have to be played out that way. At least they make a joke about it at the end.

Everyone did mention the deaths and also the fact that two of the pup-babies died because of their disabilities. I could have seen the birth defect thing coming. My other problems with this episode involve the fact the Griffin family after months doesn't notice he's pregnant. The show does mention this but it just feels like bad writing. Although I like the B plot it doesn't really have a good resolution either. The Peter plot doesn't have to be set in a seemingly alternative universe. Hey, they could have had Peter taking video of Stewie's pup babies or deliver his babies as the thing that finally gets him to viral video fame. I mean the internet likes weird thing it would have made a joke about that. I don't know it just felt something like that felt missing this episode. Especially when all the unnecessary pregnancy stuff with Stewie could have been cut out.

Weird episode but Stewie Pregnant and all? who the hell did anyone thought this was a good idea for a toddler to get pregnant and is male? i mean did they saw a certain Arnold comedy and got ideas from it?

It's as creepy as Baby Herman with an adult girlfriend in Roger Rabbit.

The story was pretty fanfic-esque if you ask me,.

Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
