Ah... the perfect chance to keep all the Jump shows in a row and you didn't use it. Swap MAR and PoT and move Death Note next to Bleach with Blood+ after it. E7 wont get a rerun on Saturday yet but maybe in Fall I guess.

Also Hunter x Hunter shouldn't be on Adult Swim (but then again neither should be Bleach). Death Note obviously would be though whenever it airs.

The 6 hour would inevitably be wasted or good shows would get shafted by having to air their one slot all week at 6PM on Saturday night. I mean really... when do they ever even use the 7PM hour to it's full capacity? 6PM would just mean more encores and reruns.

They just need to use the time they have better not expand at this point.

Though I wouldn't mind a dedicated movie slot as early as 5PM so those good Toonami aired movies could air again.

Per some of our earlier threads, the 6PM and/or 5PM block wouldn't be a bad idea to use for retro Toonami. Saturday has traditionally RARELY used this block to potential.

I tend to think it wouldn't be a great idea heading into summer. However, a good marathon block / movie block wouldn't be a terribly bad idea. We really could use it to work through some old Zatch, Mar and Naruto episodes.

Thats what some people are thinking. My guess is that it might take the naruto encore.

Personally I've always liked Zatch at 8PM or 8:30PM and since 8PM is "open" that'd be a good slot for it to return to. However, if Fantastic Four returns at 8PM (and no one knows if it will even be on Toonami when it comes back in June so that's a that's a notable "if" at this point) then Zatch obviously wouldn't return to that spot. At worst, it wont be back until Bo-Bobo finishes in Fall (around October by my calculations). If its not back by Fall... worry.

I think it will come back in June reguardless of which spot that may be in. There's a lot of ways they could do it without even touching the first half of the block.

For instance they might decide to double up One Piece until the 4kids dub is over and they might also bring back Zatch when doing that making 9PM-11PM - Naruto / Zatch / OP / OP. I'm not one to hope for MÄR or PoT to go on hiatus of course. I'm just saying there's a lot of ways it could come back. Even a weekday run is in the realm of possibility if they have a "season" worth of episodes.

I also wouldn't be the least bit opposed to Zatch Bell locking up the 7:30PM slot until it ends. People say that's a death slot but if they put a good show in that slot that can get ratings then it wouldn't be a death slot. GX seems to be doing alright there at least according to 4kids. Though GX would probably stick around so then I guess it's the rocks for DBZ (with GX moving to 7PM). But trading new Zatch Bell for old DBZ isn't a bad trade by any means IMO.

I'd be quite happy with this summer schedule:

07:00 - DBZ / Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
07:30 - Zatch Bell
08:00 - The Fantastic Four
08:30 - Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo
09:00 - Naruto
09:30 - 4kids One Piece
10:00 - MÄR
10:30 - The Prince of Tennis

I just want Zatch back ASAP. I need to see the rest of the story dang it! Well for the current arc anyway.

As soon as Viz appears at a convention, we will know what's going on. They only appear at a handful (actually... a couple...) conventions a year. We will know what is going on July 4th weekend at the latest.

Did zatch bell have good tv ratings before it went on hiatus?

It's been theorized that the ratings saw a drop mid 2006 because they moved it to post Naruto and people tend to believe that slot is used to give shows a boost. They got the schedule a little messed up in it's last airings but they did have it air 2 premieres for a couple of weeks in 2006 so it must have been doing okay. They didn't leave on the season break either which lead me to believe Viz didn't give them 79+ yet but they did have 80 scheduled at one point. So it's really hard to say. I imagine it would be of a higher priority to get back on the line-up than MÄR and PoT but now that it's also on Jetstream maybe that isn't the case. We'll just have to wait and see but by now they should definently have up to 104 dubbed if not more.

I think the remaining episodes will be dumped on Jetstream since they're currently testing repeats there. That's a shame, but it's better than being dumped at 5am like Cyborg 009 and Hakusho.

Not for people who can't access Jetstream. Such as those with no internet or very slow internet... or those who have a Mac.

It'd be such a shame if Zatch Bell never comes back. I mean it had toys, video games, a card game, manga and DVDs. So you'd think Viz would fight tooth and nail to make sure it comes back but maybe they lost interest. We should know soon enough though. Zatch Bell has just about caught up to 77 on YTV in Canada. If they surpass that then we'll at least know if they have more episodes ready to air. The question is, will CN try to beat YTV to the punch if they can? If they plan to the Zatch Bell will need to be back soon.
