Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!! News and Discussion Thread

Does Konami Cross Media NY still not update the credits list for the Yu-Gi-Oh the rough the course of its season?

Hopefully the dub isn't cancelled.

I highly doubt it. Go Rush is still airing on Disney XD. I don't know what the ratings are like, but if they were willing to dub the first season, they should be able to dub the next two. It's not like KCM is going to pull a 4Kids and end the dub incomplete. That mainly happened with 4Kids because of their own financial problems, along with how the dubs for GX and 5D's weren't as successful as DM, but that shouldn't be the case with KCM.

It’s at a weird spot right now. I’m not sure when it will return but given they added it to weekdays and still promote and it on weekends too, I’m sure it will. After episode 39 aired again this morning, they are planning to start the fourth arc reruns tomorrow morning with episode 40. However, for next week and the following week, we have substitute schedules that either blank Saturday and Sunday mornings out with Sevens and Quadstrike (standard outdated filler on stopgap schedules) or a four hour long Amphibia episode—implying possibly a marathon of Go Rush before a return to new episodes, like they do with Beyblade X before premieres return. It’s also similar to how Adult Swim sometimes blacks out special Toonami on schedules with a four American Dad to disguise the block’s last minute decisions.

However I watched the new Beyblade X episode this morning. It was excellent. I love Yuni and Reiyu becoming friends! During Blaze vs Karla, the Yugioh Go Rush commercials didn’t by anything about new episodes next week. Meanwhile Beyblade X premieres are continuing next week. It’s possible next week is a marathon not of Go Rush but instead of Beyblade X Yggdrasil vs Gordias and Pendragon vs Persona battles from recent episodes. After all we never had a Yugioh marathon before and we had at least three Beyblade X marathons after Beyblade Burst marathons on early Saturday mornings. So I think they may end up deciding to run arc 4 fully again on weekends, to recoup licensing costs, before beginning arc 5 on August 22.

Another possibility is they’re planning to suddenly premiere Pokemon Journeys next week with a marathon, but I consider this unlikely. Even though it’s come and gone from Netflix, there’s no reason to waste all the episodes at super early slots. Possibly if Disney has it, it will be on the schedule in the fall. I just don’t think they’d premiere such a major IP with less than a week’s notice in the middle of summer. They would’ve definitely aired a promo this morning if it was on the next weekend’s anime lineup. If anything Pokemon may be suited to XD’s weekday afternoon anime block more than weekend mornings, as that seems to get more viewers going by what Markus posted in the Beyblade X talkback for 3 pm BBX showings vs 8 am ones.

Edit:
Disney Beat says Go Rush premieres return October 3. So we will get a full run of arc 4, which began this morning, then likely another run of arc 1, before going back to new episodes. They also list Beyblade X as starting season 3 that day. But looking at things week to week, we shouldn’t see episode 100, the season 2 finale, until October 10, with season 3 not airing until October 17. Maybe Disney has different cut off points for what they consider the seasons of this show compared to Japan, but 100 is the conclusion of the Omega arc.

They also claim once again that Pokemon is returning August 6. That’s a Thursday so maybe Disney Channel will air several episodes in marathon form like Disney did with Dragon Striker?

I'd be shocked if they just dropped Pokemon on their lineup so casually. They did it with Go Rush even though it was one of the few new shows on Disney XD. Even though Yu-Gi-Oh! isn't as huge of a brand compared to Pokemon, that was still an odd choice on both Disney and KCM's parts. In this case, I think that Disney would definitely want to make a bigger deal about having Pokemon on their lineup and streaming series. It's a huge franchise right in the middle of a big anniversary milestone too. I'd hope that they'd start promoting Pokemon at least a couple of weeks before it starts, especially when Disney XD gave SM a pretty solid amount of promotion.

Considering that season one ended back in February, it does feel strange to have season two premiere in the fall instead. Maybe KCM needed more time to dub more of the season, but it still feels like another unnecessarily long hiatus between dub seasons.

Thankful it looks like they are going to finish the dub. I still wish they would dub gx s4. They need content right??

I don't think there was any doubt that they were going to finish Go Rush's dub. While the wait between seasons seems a bit long, I don't think it was long enough to think that they weren't going to finish the dub. It hasn't even been close to a year since season one ended. They already dubbed the first season despite the fact that Rush Duels aren't available in the U.S. outside of that Switch game and Duel Links. Like I mentioned earlier, the days of incomplete Yu-Gi-Oh! dubs are over. A big reason why 4Kids didn't finish GX and 5D's was due to their financial problems. I don't know how well they're doing, but KCM isn't exactly in the same position 4Kids was for a number of reasons.

As for GX's fourth season, I highly doubt that they'll dub it. Even with it being a shorter season, I just don't see why they'd spend the time, money and resources finishing a dub from twenty years ago. I am surprised in a way just how often I see people wishing that they would dub the season. I can understand in a way because the GX dub finale was such a non-ending. It was painfully obvious that there was more to 5D's than what its dub finale did, but it did provide some semblance of closure. They couldn't even bother to do that with GX when they could have just by ending it on the clip show episode where Judai comes back to Duel Academy. It still wouldn't have been an ending, but it would have been a better final note than implying that the main character died and not seeing any aftermath of the rest of the cast coming back from the Dark World.

But the GX dub, in my opinion, is basically unwatchable. It was a bad dub then and even worse now. Season three was practically a parody dub, particularly in the first half, so I don't think season four would be much better within the dub continuity and I can't see KCM dubbing the series for long time fans either.

Considering it will take them probably at least two years to finish Go Rush's dub, I would hope that there will be some new Yu-Gi-Oh! content for them to dub by then.

I still strongly suspect that only applies to DM. I have my doubts that the spin-off series are all doing well on Hulu for a number of reasons.
Well, yeah. I actually do agree with you on this, but I have to wonder just how is Konami Cross Media profiting then. Like I doubt Disney XD's miserable 30k viewers is any sort of good. (Remember when Zexal doing 0.5 was seen as utterly pathetic?) I think the way the profit must be simply Disney XD purchasing a 52 episode package. Because oddly enough the money that comes from tv deals is pretty juicy lol.

I'm sure go rush is being dubbed into foreign languages as well and airing on their respective tv channel regions.

Any idea if Sevens and/or Go Rush aired in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Ireland, and the United Kingdom? Or are the Rush shows exclusive to Disney XD for English dub?
Does Konami Cross Media NY still not update the credits list for the Yu-Gi-Oh the rough the course of its season?
If you mean the incomplete credits, they were just a transcription error by myself. The full credits were always there, I was just sloppy and missed that a second slide flashed by during the second batch of season 1, since the cast had expanded so vastly by the Lugh arc. I eventually corrected them after the full season hit streaming. Check the earlier pages of the thread for updated cast lists on episodes in the 30s and 40s.

Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
