"WWE Money in the Bank" 2011 Prediction Thread

This is probably the hardest PPV in months for me to make choices for. No one really seems to be a clear winner over anyone else this time around.

Miz - Del Rio already has a number one contender slot (unless they forgot about it, so him winning MitB seems rather pointless)

Barrett - No clue, just going with someone

Cena - So hard to make a choice for it, and yeah it could end with Punk winning and then losing his belt immeidately with a cash-in, but I'm just not sure

Christian - This one is tricky, but I think this is one where Christian can win without being "screwed" and then get beaten with a cash-in

Henry - If WWE insists on making him out to be some sort of monster, he has to win this. I never got the point of these failed push attempts with him, he's jsut not too endearing a character

Kelly - Useless match, but someone has to win

I'll give it to Wade Barrett. He needs a boost like this to rebound from the last year.

Cena. It's an obvious pick, but I don't see how they can continue this Punk storyline without him getting unceremoniously dumped.

World Heavyweight Championship
Orton.

Big Show vs. Mark Henry
Big Show, but I really don't care about this match.

Divas Championship
Probably Kelly since the Bella's have outlived their use by now.

I'm really surprised to go 3-3. I didn't think Vince had that much faith in Bryan, even though Bryan would have won NXT Season 1 according to 90% of the people had he himself not said he should be eliminated because he hadn't won a match. Glad to have gotten Christian wrong, but really surprised that Punk is being credited as the winner since, as Cole said, the bell signaling Punk's win never rung.

Absolutely terrible, but I'm very OK with it, since both Punk and Bryan won. This one was probably the first PPV I was seriously considering buying in a very long time, but I couldn't justify spending $40 on a PPV I can buy for $15 on DVD a month later.

I don't think anyone expected a Daniel Bryan victory at MitB.

3/6. Looks like 4 is the most common score for people here...which clearly shows there is a conspiracy against me. If there be any spiders in the Summerslam prediction thread the grit's gonna hit the fan!!

Really should have picked Del Rio in hindsight...but wow. Never thought Bryan would win. Still thoroughly unconvinced he will successfully cash in MITB, and judging by the end of the match I think they may actually be leaning toward a feud with Barrett over the briefcase.

I really should have went with my gut and picked Punk, but I had so much doubt about it. Really surprised there was no actually cash-in of a MitB contract in either match and I would have never guessed WWE would have Daniel Bryan win one of the matches like that.

4-2. Like most of you, I never thought Daniel Bryan would end up a winner. Apparently, they decided that the two most obvious choices (Barrett & Sheamus) are due to feud with each other soon enough, based on Smackdown, so neither one would get the briefcase.

I won't be home for Raw tonight (minor league baseball), but reading the result of the Punk-Cena match left a bitter taste, as I was afraid it would. McMahon needs to get over Montreal. Period.

4-2. I don't think anybody saw a Daniel Bryan victory coming. As for Cena/Punk... Punk was actually my first guess, but I changed it when I had Christian winning the World title. Figured at least one face would win. Of course, Punk pretty much was the face in Chicago, so I miscalculated there.

'Twas a great show, so I'm not disappointed.
