After my dismal performance in the Wrestlemania thread, I now have my chance to prove myself.

WWE Tag Team Championship
Team Angle vs. Los Guerreros
WINNER: Team Angle is going to take this one. They will probably keep the belts until Kurt Angle returns from his injury.

Rey Mysterio vs. Big Show
WINNER: Rey Mysterio Jr.. I can really see this going either way, but my instinct tells me to go with Rey Rey.

Women's Championship
Trish Stratus vs. Jazz
WINNER: Jazz. With the push she's getting with Teddy Long and Rodney Mack, I would expect her to get the belt.

World Tag Team Championship
Rob Van Dam & Kane vs. The Dudley Boyz
WINNER: RVD & Kane. The Dudley Boyz are still conflicted with their place in the Bischoff Administration and will mess up their chance.

Sean O'Haire vs. Rikishi
WINNER: Sean O'Haire. With this being his first TV match since his push, he couldn't lose this one.

WWE Championship
Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena
WINNER: Brock Lesnar. Though I would love Cena to win the belt, it's too soon. The feud will probably extend after Backlash.

Six Man Tag Match
"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, & Booker T vs. Triple H, Chris Jericho, & Ric Flair
WINNER: HBK, Nash, and Booker T. I would love to see a swerve with Nash turning on HBK, but that's not going to happen.

The Rock vs. Goldberg
WINNER: Goldberg. Rock's leaving, and it's GOLDBERG he's facing.

Backlash Predictions

WWE Tag Team Championship
Team Angle vs. Los Guerreros
Winner: Team Angle
I have a feeling Los Novelles will be on SmackDown! ;)

Rey Mysterio vs. Big Show
Winner: Rey Mysterio, Jr.
Rey is a giant killer, and Big Show is the perfect candidate to lose to him.

Women's Championship
Trish Stratus vs. Jazz
Winner: Jazz
Trish has no juice. Trish can exist without the title, but Jazz can't. Trish won at WM XIX because she was the hottest diva in the match. Jazz will win the title and feud with the face divas.

World Tag Team Championship
Rob Van Dam vs. The Dudley Boyz
Winner: RVD & Kane
This is the monthly PPV match with no build up. The Dudley Boyz are conflicted.

Sean O'Haire vs. Rikishi
Winner: Sean O'Haire
Sean O'Haire needs a win for ring creditibilty. Rikishi will be back to dancing on Velocity soon enough.

WWE Championship
Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena
Winner: Brock Lesnar
Lesnar won't lose the title a month after winning it. It is also to soon for the Master of Thuganomics to be WWE Champion.

"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, and Booker T vs. Triple H, Chris Jericho, and Ric Flair
Winner: "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, and Booker T
A heel turn for HBK or Nash would be too obivious. Booker T also need a win to build himself for another title shot at Judgment Day. This match will start a feud between Nash and Jericho. HBK will beef with Flair leading into Judgment Day. Nash and HBK could also reform Two Dudes with Attitudes (TDA). TDA could be credible contenders or champs for the sorry tag division on RAW.

The Rock vs. Goldberg
Winner: The Rock
I don't believe the WWE will job Rock to Goldberg. The Rock will probably win via DQ. If Rock is jobbed to Goldberg, the World Heavyweight Championship might as well be hand to Goldberg. I hope Goldberg doesn't injure Rock.

WWE Tag Team Championship
Team Angle vs. Los Guerreros
Winners: Team Angle

Rey Mysterio vs. Big Show
Winner: Big Show

Women's Championship
Trish Stratus vs. Jazz
Winner: Trish

World Tag Team Championship
Rob Van Dam & Kane vs. The Dudley Boyz
Winner: Rob Van Dam & Kane

Sean O'Haire vs. Rikishi
Winner: Sean O'Haire

WWE Championship
Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena

WWE Tag Team Championship
Team Angle vs. Los Guerreros
Winner:Team Angle- They need to hold their own without Angle.

Rey Mysterio vs. Big Show
Winner:Rey Mysterio-Some forget or may not know that this was the same guy who beat Kevin Nash in WcW, and Nash is way better that the Show.

Women's Championship
Trish Stratus vs. Jazz
Winner:Trish

World Tag Team Championship
Rob Van Dam & Kane vs. The Dudley Boyz
Winner:Rob Van Dam & Kane. I sense the Dudleys to split sometime soon.

Sean O'Haire vs. Rikishi
Winner:Sean O'Haire-I see him winning with the assist from Piper. Their partnership reminds of when Roddy Piper/"Ace Cowboy" Bob Orton/"Mr. 1derful" Paul Ordondoff were the top heel cliq in the WWF in the mid 80's.

WWE Championship
Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena
Winner:Brock Lesnar-It's too early to just hand Cena the belt, plus I see him falling down the ladder pretty quick after this match if he loses.

Six Man Tag Match
"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, & Booker T vs. Triple H, Chris Jericho, & Ric Flair
Winner:"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, & Booker T

The Rock vs. Goldberg
Winner:Goldberg-There's no way the WWE will have him lose his first match in the company. But maybe he won't pin The Rock but win by dq. (Quote from Memphis Bleek. I hope Goldberg doesn't injure Rock.) I agree I still haven't gotten over the kick he used on Bret Hart at Starrcade 3 years ago to end his career.

OK, I think I care enough about this PPV to make predictions.

Team Angle
Rey Mysterio, Jr.
Trish (why not?)
RVD and Kane
Rikishi
Brocky
In the 6 man tag, I expect Booker T to get swallowed up in a huge HHH effect/ Kliq/Ric Flair conspiracy and never given another title shot again.

The Gillberg rip-off.

After a stunning upset in the Wrestlemania thread, I chose to continue my path of glory... (I am a heel champion)

WWE Tag Team Titles
Team Angle vs. Los Guerreros

My Thoughts: I don't really see Los Guerreros recapturing the titles at this point. First of all, Team Angle needs the titles alot more than Los Guerreros at this point. Eddie and Chavo can rely on vigenettes and natural charisma to get people to like them- Team Angle are very plain, and without Kurt around, they need to keep the gold to keep their heat. Second of all, for all intents and purposes, Team Angle really only became represented as a strong tag team at Wrestlemania, where they won their first big match in an "upset" of LG and Benoit/Rhyno. Before that they were just Brock Lesnar's personal jobberboys. Since I see them having a long strong reign, likley to last until Kurt gets back, I don't see them dropping the titles at all.
Winners: Team Angle

The Big Show vs. Rey Mysterio

My Thoughts: This match is completley and utterly retarded, because as far as I can see, it will accomplish nothing but bad things no matter what happens. If Big Show wins, it won't make Big Show look good- it will just make Mysterio look sad as hell. Show squashing Mysterio doesn't make Show look like a monster, because the guy he's tossing around is tiny. It will make him simply into a bully, and the crowd will collectively groan when he wins. If Mysterio wins, yeah, it will make him look good, but A) not that good, because Big Show has like no credibility and B) it will make Big Show look absolutley pathetic. If the WWE ever has plans for Big Show to ever do anything, ever again (I read rumors he's next in line for a shot at Brock's title) he needs to go over, or he'll never be able to show his face in public again. Vince loves big men, and he would never have Show lose to Mysterio- it will just never happen. Mysterio will hit a few moves, and almost pull out "the biggest upset if WWE history!" but Show will undoubtedly win.
Winner: The Big Show

Sean O'Haire vs. Rikishi

My Thoughts: Every time Rikishi came out to face an up and coming young heel last year, I prayed that he would do the job and end his streak of squashing every one. He didn't. He beat John Cena, Matt Hardy, and the FBI all singlehandedly. Nice work, you fat piece of crap. Maybe if you were marginally talented and were getting a push, all of that squashing would mean something. The Kish makes his first PPV appearance in 11 months, and once again, he's facing a young heel- Sean O'Haire. I'm confident, however, that this time, things will be different. O'Haire is in store for a big push, and with Roddy Piper at his side, you know he's destined for big things. Rikishi is a go through guy to make O'Haire a star... At least he better be. If Rikishi wins this match I'll kill somebody. Regardless, it makes no sense for Rikishi to win, so I'll go with that logic.
Winner: Sean O'Haire

WWE Title
Brock Lesnar vs. Jon Cena

My Thoughts: This match has a good amount of buildup stemming from months ago, and even though Jon Cena has no chance in hell of taking the title from Brock, I appriciate that he's been given the chance to show what he's got on a grand stage. Brock just won the title, and basically the guy has only been pinned twice- once when there was a screwjob, and once in something that wasn't even a real match. Will he do his first clean job to Cena? No. Brock will have a long illustrious reign before dropping the strap to Benoit or Angle or someone... But not Cena, one month later.
Winner: Brock Lesnar

Women's Title
Trish Stratus vs. Jazz

My Thoughts: Trish just won the title, which usually dictates she won't lose it yet, but I'm picking Jazz for a few reasons. The first is that if Trish pins Jazz, who does she face next? She doesn't really have anyone lined up- she might win and feud with Jazz until Judgment Day, but for the most part, she's done it all with most of the Women's Division divas, whereas Jazz could feud with Ivory, Molly, or even Victoria which would all be fresh feuds for the women's division. I also think that the main reason Trish won last month was not to set up a lengthy title reign, but to have the divisions only babyface emerge victorious in the biggest women's match of the year- and to prevent Jazz from winning the women's WM triple threat in two straight years. Ultimatley I think Jazz will get the title regardless, so that a strong, dominant heel will have the strap leading into the summer to feud with the returning Lita. With Teddy Long now at her side, Jazz would look bad in losing, so for all of those reasons, I think Jazz will win somehow.
Winner: Jazz

World Tag Titles
Rob Van Dam and Kane vs. The Dudley Boyz

My Thoughts: RVD and Kane, one month after getting shoved off the WM card and winning the tag titles next month, are in store for a decent title reign, I think. The Dudleyz are involved in an interesting storyline, and their conflict will likley cost them the belts- at this point, them winning the titles would mean little, and simply leave RVD and Kane without direction or a storyline. The Dudleyz have their own thing going on, so I see RVD and Kane retaining, to face Le Resistiance, the APA, 3 Minute Warning, and a healthy, returning Evolution.
Winners: Rob Van Dam and Kane

Kevin Nash, Booker T, and Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H, Chris Jericho, and Ric Flair

My Thoughts: I'm totally disgusted that Booker T and Jericho's feuds going into this one have been overshadowed by the Kliq love triangle. Who gives a crap where Nash went? Since the title isn't on the line, I think it makes the most sense for the babyfaces to win and get the one up on the champ. Most of the feud has involved Triple H, so I think he'll be the one being pinned, most likley by Nash. This makes Nash a threat to Hunter and the natural No. 1 Conteder heading into Judgment Day. The only thing that makes me wonder is that I'm positive that babyfaces will win both of the other "main-events" and there are almost never all good guys winning the top matches... But this makes to much sense, so I'm just going with it.
Winners: Nash/HBK/Booker T

Bill Goldberg vs. The Rock

My Thoughts: Well here we go, Goldberg's first match. I simply don't see Rock winning at all, in a match that is basically common sense- Rock winning would accomplish zilch since Rocky is heading back to Hollywood very soon, and seeing as Goldberg needs to be put over as a dominant force, the chances that he'll lose to the Rock are slim.
Winner: Goldberg

Gotta go with Team Angle here.
Rey Mysterio vs. Big Show
Mysterio takes this one

Women's Championship
Trish Stratus vs. Jazz
New women's champ coming... I'll agree with the masses and pick Jazz
World Tag Team Championship
Rob Van Dam & Kane vs. The Dudley Boyz
RVD + Kane keep the titles here
Sean O'Haire vs. Rikishi
O'Haire (With a little help from Piper, returning the help Sean has given him in his new "Piper's Pit" segments.)
WWE Championship
Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena
Too soon for Brock to lose the title, and too soon for Cena to win it... Lesnar gets the dupe here.

Six Man Tag Match
"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, & Booker T vs. Triple H, Chris Jericho, & Ric Flair
Faces win and make peace afterwards.

The Rock vs. Goldberg
If the Rock's going out for another movie, he's gotta go out on top. I like The Great One.

Team Angle vs. Los Guerreros

Rey Mysterio vs. Big Show

Trish Stratus vs. Jazz

Rob Van Dam & Kane vs. The Dudley Boyz

Sean O'Haire vs. Rikishi

Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena

Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, & Booker T vs. Triple H, Chris Jericho, & Ric Flair

The Rock vs. Goldberg

The Winners:

Team Angle
Rey Mysterio
Trish Stratus
RVD & Kane
Sean O'Haire
Brock Lesnar
HHH, Y2J, & Ric Flair
Goldberg

Cool, I always miss these threads typically but now I can put my thoughts in.

Team Angle vs. Los Guerreros: Team Angle

Rey Mysterio vs. Big Show: Since unfortunately the main event for Judgment day is Show/Lesnar, Show wins.

Trish Stratus vs. Jazz: Trish.

Rob Van Dam & Kane vs. The Dudley Boyz:RVD and Kane will take it will the Dudley's tease another break up.

Sean O'Haire vs. Rikishi: Sean O' Haire. This will probabbly lead to a Sunka/Rikishi vs O'Haire/Piper match at JD.

Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena: No brainer. Lesnar wins.

Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, & Booker T vs. Triple H, Chris Jericho, & Ric Flair: Michaels, Nash and Booker to set up the not so anticipated Hunter/Nash feud.

The Rock vs. Goldberg: Goldberg.

Your Unofficial WWE Mod is here with his picks...

WWE Tag Team Championship
Team Angle vs. Los Guerreros

Team Angle Benjamin & Haas benefit more from having the belts around their waists, it's as simple as that.

Rey Mysterio vs. Big Show
Show I was probably going to pick Rey-Rey, but his near-win will do nearly as much as a win and the Show can't afford to fall any further down.

Women's Championship
Trish Stratus vs. Jazz

Jazz I hate her so I wanna pick Trish, but once again the logic of those who picked the man-beast is not something I'm going to pick against.

World Tag Team Championship
Rob Van Dam & Kane vs. The Dudley Boyz

RVD & Kane In the battle between the team that shouldn't be a team and the team that tried to move on and failed, I'll pick the one that already has the belts.

Sean O'Haire vs. Rikishi
O'Haire If you need a reason there's nothing anyone can do for you.

WWE Championship
Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena

Lesnar I wanna pick Cena so badly, but the smart money is on the dumb guy.

Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, & Booker T vs. Triple H, Chris Jericho, & Ric Flair
HBK, Nash & Booker There are so many possible scenarios for this match (that wasn't hyped very well) that I actually flipped a coin (ask turkish and KoD). It was heads so the faces win it.

The Rock vs. Goldberg
Goldberg You don't lose in your debut to a guy who won't be on TV in under a month, simple as that.

WWE Tag Team Championship
Team Angle vs. Los Guerreros

Tough one, I guess Team Angle.

Rey Mysterio vs. Big Show

I say Show.

Women's Championship
Trish Stratus vs. Jazz

Trish.

World Tag Team Championship
Rob Van Dam & Kane vs. The Dudley Boyz

Tough one. I guess RVD/Kane.

Sean O'Haire vs. Rikishi

O'Hare

WWE Championship
Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena

Cena will never wear the belt in a million years. Lesner.

Six Man Tag Match
"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, & Booker T vs. Triple H, Chris Jericho, & Ric Flair

I'll go with HHH's team.

The Rock vs. Goldberg

All signs point to Goldberg.

WWE Tag Team Championship: Team Angle vs. Los Guerreros - Team Angle will have those titles until Kurt Angle comes back.

Winner - Team Angle

Rey Mysterio vs. Big Show -
This is the kind of stupid stuff the old WCW used to do. It isn't even worth commenting on.

Winner - Big Show

Women's Championship: Trish Stratus vs. Jazz -
This one's obvious. Nobody's "backing the Mack", so they need someone there to make Teddy Long look like a competent manager.

Winner - Jazz

World Tag Team Championship: Rob Van Dam & Kane vs. The Dudley Boyz -
To tell you guys the truth, I really don't care about this plotline at all. It's a real shame though, as it had the makings of something good. I say Kane and RVD take it when the Dudleys start fighting with each other.

Winner - RVD and Kane

Sean O'Haire vs. Rikishi -
Sean O'Haire for two reasons: 1) They have to make the young guy look good and 2) Roddy Piper is in his corner.

Winner - Sean O'Haire

WWE Championship: Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena -
There's no question on who will win here, but I don't think that's why people are watching. I (along with most of you) have the feeling that this confrontation will be huge one day, like Rock/Austin, Hart/Michaels, and Hogan/Andre. This will be the match that started it all.

Winner - Brock Lesnar

Six Man Tag Match: Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, & Booker T vs. Triple H, Chris Jericho, & Ric Flair -
I don't know, nor do I care. The winner will be whoever Kevin Nash alligns himself with, so I say he alligns with Booker T and Shawn Michaels.

Winners - Kevin Nash, Booker T, & Shawn Michaels

The Rock vs. Goldberg -
Consider this: You have just signed the hottest free agent out there. You dealt with his ego, you agreed to his insane demands. Now this free agent is in a match with one of the biggest stars in wrestling. What do you think will happen? I thought so.

Winner - Goldberg
