Nintendo is sure making a lot of Mario games!

I though Mario 128 was something fake and was used to how powerful the Gamecube's graphic engine is.

EDIT: My 1000 post.

Yes and no. There was a tech demo called "Super Mario 128", however earlier this year it was confirmed that Nintendo is working on a game called "Super Mario 128".

Probaly Mario & Luigi and Mario Golf Advance because I haven't played Mario RPG and Paper Mario and I want to see if it's any good and if MGA is as addictive as Mario Golf for the Gameboy Color then I may never get off the toliet again. :p

I thought 128 is going to be a puzzle game or something.

No, Super Mario 128 is the sequel to Super Mario 64.

No option for none of the above?

Still waiting for a SMW sequel for GBA. A NEW ONE.

I want Paper Mario 2.
Paper Mario = Best Game Ever.

You should try Mario RPG for SNES. It's better than Paper Mario IMO.

I have, but I just felt like Paper Mario was it's overall superior. I felt like it added a certain level of feeling and I particulairily bonded with all of the characters in Paper Mario. Plus Bowser felt like a very menacing villain for once, and the game's sidequests were very fun and addictive.

I liked Bowser in SMRPG a lot better. It adds more dimension to his character.

You're the first person I've ever met who preferred Paper Mario over Mario RPG.

As far as RPGs go, Mario RPG was pretty beginner-friendly, but Paper Mario was just oversimplified in my opinion. The battle system could be fun, it just felt a little too shallow and basic, in my opinion. The whole game felt a little shallow when compared to Mario RPG. Storywise, Mario RPG managed to go far beyond the cliched "rescue the Princess from Bowser" story, and while Paper Mario added a little more to the story with the Star Spirits and stuff, its story was still nowhere as near as involved as Mario RPG's.

Don't get me wrong, I still like Paper Mario for the lighthearted take on RPGs that it is, and I had a lot of fun with it. It just doesn't come anywhere near Mario RPG, in my opinion.

Yeah, I liked Super Mario RPG more than Paper Mario. Don't get me wrong, Paper Mario was a great game with great music. I just like Mario RPG and it's music more.

I liked Bowser in both Super Mario RPG and Paper Mario. I liked him more in SMRPG, though.

I've seen it on Gamefaqs. For instance, someone once suggest "Mario & Luigi" should have game play like SMRPG instead of PM & they got responses like (paraphrase) "Why would you want a cliche battle system when you can have Paper Mario's unique battle system".

Oh & I think they should not have renamed the game as "Paper Mario" (The original name was "Super Mario RPG 2").

I didn't know Nintendo was going to release so many Mario games this year.

MarioKart

Yeah DIC did do that, but I still I like the cartoon Koopa kids though and cartoon Bowser was great.

I liked Paper Mario better than Mario RPG too.

I'm looking forward to Mario Advance 4 the most. All those memories as a kid..ah...

Don't hold your breath...

I'm excited about every game on that list except Mario Party 5 (5? sheesh...)

I'm glad they are making a Mario Party 5, they should keep up the tradition of making a Mario Party every year.

Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
