What Mario games are you looking forward to? III

This is the latest version of topic I made two years ago & last year.

Note: Even though Mario Tennis Advance wasn't at E3, I included it because it was listed in that GI magazine & they were right about everything else (including the title for the next Zelda game).

Edit: I just found out that Mario Tennis Advance was at E3, I don't know how I missed that IGN article...

Hey, Mario will NEVER die! Though I wish all these pointless spinoffs would. Someone commented that "these days Mario is in every type of game except for the type he's supposed to be in." I agree 100%.

Fortunately, "New Super Mario Bros" is coming and I can't tell you how ecstatic I am about that. The first Mario platform game since 1992's "6 Golden Coins." No more ports! Fresh levels! New powerups! It'll be a blast!

I'm also just as enthusiastic about a Mario and Luigi for the DS, but I have slightly more anticipation for "New Super Mario Bros."

Of course, I'm happy. As an MP fan, why wouldn't I be happy over yearly installments? Why wouldn't I be happy to get more of what I like each year? And why do you care? You could just ignore the series & leave it to it's fans...

I'm looking most forward to the Revolution Mario (Super Mario Revolution?) as I hope they might try a more traditional Mario 64 title (although I did like Mario Sunshine.) Mario and Luigi 2 should be a fun title as I did like the original on GBA. Mario Bros. DS sounds quite awesome, traditional Mario gameplay with what looks like some Mario 64 move sets and being able to play as Mario and Luigi. Most of these other new titles look good as well. Super Mario Strikers? These guys really are going far with their sport titles aren't they?

Because they believe that Super Mario 128 contains innovated ideas that other companies will copy. They don't want other companies to copy these ideas before the game is released however (because then people who don't know of things like E3 will think SM128 is the rip off & the company that made the real rip off will get the praise).

As a result they need to reveal the innovated ideas so close to release that it would be impossible for that situation to happen. Super Mario 128 isn't coming out anytime soon, recently they even said that it's likely they would release another main Mario game before it (like the sequel to Super Mario Sunshine).

Looking forward to 128, SMBDS, SSBO, M&L2, MK Arcade GP and MKDS. Of what has been visible, SMBDS, MK Arcade GP, and MKDS look to be exceptionally good.

That's a whale of a tale. It's more likely they have nothing worth showing and Mario 128 in any form will never be released.
