I think they should. Maybe then, studios will realize how passionate people see animation, and when their shows currently in production are thrown off I'd like to see them try to work their way around it.

If Zaslov's treatment of the Looney Tunes franchise is any indication, most definitely.

YES! So much YES!

I bet the voice actors, writers, producers, and directors from all walks of life will support something like this.

This needs to be a documentary.

If the studios don't give into (most of) their demands, then sure.

FWIW, the recent negotiations with IASTE went off without a strike, so I dunno how this will shake out...

Low pay? awful residual payment? lousy benefit? no bonus? Sure, they likely go on strike.

If it is related to media preservation, IP, closure of cable channel, studio's poor treatment of animation and others are not related to career? Unlikely, it is not part of their goal, especially if studios fund the projects with their money, so they have no say and it would derail the strike that where workers want better pay and better benefits.

Still, what the executives did to their talent is still crappy regardless.

As someone who's Portuguese, it just bugs me again that we lost. I wanted Portugal to win this time because this is Ronaldo's last, but no, we think Ronaldo has devolved significantly, and we lost against Spain.
