Which are still ultimately owned by American corporations anyway. This isn't a purely European media conglomerate buying another purely European media conglomerate. They do have European divisions, though.

European divisions that will get destroyed by Paramount... Yeah, not looking forward to what they're gonna do in Italy, in UK (as I can't see 5 living in harmony in the same house as Quest and TLC) and Poland (TVN has its days counted?)They do have European divisions, though.
European divisions that lost their localization and quality control. They do have European divisions, though.
Oops, I means 20th Century, not Fox.No, not on extreme scale as Paramount-WBD.
I heard very, very, very heavy criticism with Paramount but it was much smaller when Disney bought 20th Century.
I believe that Ellison used political as tool to push the M&A that deeply divided the community since Disney avoid the political.
You may heard few hates like Disney closed Blue Sky Studios but most people didn't care about it as few in here like Harry sees as big deal.
My big hope for his Paramount-WBD to be stalled as long as possible to make extremely expensive for Ellison to eat, also lawsuit to stop this M&A.
I rather see WB treated separately whether Skydance buys them or not.If the combined company calls itself Skydance Corporation, they can adopt this logo, but putting the word "Corporation" under it:

I don't think soI rather see WB treated separately whether Skydance buys them or not.
I don't know if there won't be IP mixing too.I can’t see all of Nickelodeon’s IPs crossing over with WB’s own.
Already embarrassed because this is too hyperbolic. I don’t think the Ellisons are that anti-animation.I'm not going to speculate about what happens with after M&A.
Merger and acquisition is unpredictable and there is no way to know about M&A would be approved, also there is court battle in the circle. You could end up overblown instead. The prediction on post-M&A is more of impossible because we didn't know about Zaslav's tax write off after merger closed.
I'm going to do is wait and see. You would be embarrassed if your projection gets wrong.
I don't perceive Ellisons as anti-animation and my concern would be very major cut to both studios after merger is closed unless they want debt growing larger and larger.I don’t think the Ellisons are that anti-animation.
What took them long enough to realize this I'll never know. But it wouldn't have never happened if AT&T had not bought Time Warner in the first place!$500 Million Exit: David Zaslav Is Leaving Warner Bros. a Rich Man — but He’d Love to Stay Around Even Longer
Even WBD staff is frustrated with the board and shareholders.
Will this discontent change anything though, even with the shareholders?$500 Million Exit: David Zaslav Is Leaving Warner Bros. a Rich Man — but He’d Love to Stay Around Even Longer

I doubt that is going to change the shareholders' minds because they are very thirsty for money. Will this discontent change anything though, even with the shareholders?
For me that would be overkill. That and enabling NBC and CBS under one roof unless a CBS Corporation artifice was set up.Paramount-WBD-NBCUniversal:![]()
Yeah, it means antitrust laws would be totally broken. For me that would be overkill. That and enabling NBC and CBS under one roof unless a CBS Corporation artifice was set up.
The sad fact is that the EU has relaxed its laws to make such a takeover possible.Yeah, it means antitrust laws would be totally broken.
