Upcoming Nick Programming

I'm hoping Every Witch Way will be on at 8 p.m. No reason SaC, THH and TTM should lose evening slots to... that.

That's EXACTLY what it is:

So it's airing on Nick huh? Is there an actual full length episode? Or will they air these two episodes together?

I believe it will be a .5-1 hour special not available online, since Mattel airs made-for-TV specials for Monster High like "New Ghoul at School", "Fright On!", etc., as well as direct-to-DVD Barbie movies on Nick.

I saw the promo for Every Witch Way, it looks terrible. And if I heard the commercial correctly it will be airing at 7p.m. Seriously where did show come from.

Could be a guest spot on another program or even her own show. Perhaps she nabbed a role in one of the pilots or Schneider has something new coming up. He likes to build casts for new shows from former guest stars in his previous shows.

Btw, seems like Every Witch Way will only air in January (hopefully). It's promo says something along the lines of, "one-month only". So.... I'm thinking that although the first season is 40 episodes, it'll be like HoA where each episode is only about 11 min, meaning a full half hour will be two episodes. Wishful thinking on my end I guess.

7pm? So Nick is just going to waste a valuable Spongebob lead in on this? Ridiculous. Live action deserves that spot. Nick should've just put this show on Sunday.

Every Witch Way sounds like a Sabrina retread, although admittedly, the pun in the shows' title is amusing. The Thundermans might have been an interesting idea for a series. I just wish that it didn't have those 2 generic teen characters in the front who basically adhere to the same "good girl-bad boy" dynamic that I've seen a dozen times before. It's basically Even Stevens with super powers.

I haven't seen The Haunted Hathaways yet, but something about that shows' premise and set up is just...wrong. For every living Caucasian female in the main cast, there's an equivalent African-American male ghost. It's like an interracial Brady Bunch except that half of them are dead. Also, I've seen some of the promos for Hathaways, and that younger boy mugs so much that he should have a handle on the side of his head.

Every Witch Way is apparently the American adaptation of a Latin American Nickelodeon series called "Grachi" (source). Kind of like how Anubis was a Dutch Nickelodeon series before they made an English language adaptation.

So it looks like Nickelodeon isn't done with telenovelas. While structured similarly to Anubis, I think this will have a bigger chance of success as it's in the vein of Monster/After Ever High which is extremely popular.

Funny how a quick google brings up info. One of the actors says it'll air 7:30 p.m. So live action will likely keep the 7 p.m. slot, although Nick might have a different schedule come January. In any case, promos said the show is for one month only, so it won't be around long, but I think these are the kinds of shows that should air on TeenNick.

Seems like a huge waste of time to me on Nick's part. Hopefully it doesn't get much promotion, because needs to promote the return of their hit shows as much as possible, especially SaC with it's iCarly/Victorious reunion special coming up.

Absolutely. I would expect the advertising for the January content will begin once Christmas is done. In particular, the week where SaC, SBSP, FOP, TTM/THH, and RI/SJC get their weekday marathons will probably be the week.

It would be nice to know what's coming up in January. So far we know about this show and the SaC special. This pales in comparison to what other networks are launching in January. But then again, not like there was anything new aside from BW.

I'm thinking Nick is going to ramp up their premieres in Janurary, similar to what they did in September. SaC is already scheduled to have 3 separate premieres in Janurary, including that big 1 hour special. I have the feeling FOP will return from hiatus and have a string of premieres as well. I have my fingers crossed that we finally get a FOP-SBSP-SJC-TMNT-RI premiere block in Janurary or early Feburary.

Zap2It has SaC, THH, and TTM airing on Saturday, Jan. 4. I'd assume the Nicktoons return then too. I wouldn't get your hopes up. I don't think Nick is gonna air FOP or SBSP premieres regularly Saturday mornings until maybe the summer, but save episodes for special events and weeknight premieres.

Every Witch Way looks like a poor man's version of Wizards of Waverly Place based from what I've seen from the clips. Sorry, not looking forward to it. It's just another high school tweencom that you would see on Disney Channel. Seriously, this show belongs to TeenNick.

You beat me to it. Well, we saw that coming. The ratings from that two week stretch at 4 pm clearly made an impression on Nick. Not bad for a show that only scored over 2.5M once.

Awesome for Rabbids. No complaints here, its very consistent and repeats well. It's definitely a show that can grow.

I thought it looked like Nick was done licensing last month's flavors.

They didn't renew MvA. Besides, why wouldn't you renew something doing well for your network. I don't petsonally watch RI and I had a pretty low view of it. But it's held up very well.
