Emphasis on the word could (as in, she could start development if CN gives the greenlight), which doesn't mean she can and will start tomorrow.

It's weird of CN to greenlight this now. A publicly released pilot from 2020 only now becoming a show. Then again CN under Zaslav hasn't made much logic anyways

TBH I wasn’t overly impressed with the pilot. I wouldn’t have any objections to it but I’m not dying to see it either.

No, it's not true. Like @RegularCapital said, Geneva Hodgson said she could (I repeat, COULD) get ready for pre-production if Cartoon Network were to greenlight Trick Moon as a full show, but that doesn't mean it's gonna happen.

If the previous regime wasn't interested in picking up Trick Moon due to corporate restructuring and changing leadership, then I doubt the current regime is interested in it either.

Fair enough. As someone who really loves Trick Moon, and would love to see it getting picked up, I cannot imagine being treated well, especially with CN's current leadership at Discovery. So, I guess it's probably for the best it didn't get picked up? IDK

Eh, I don't know if that will work out since CN owns the Trick Moon pilot. Unless CN will give the pilot's right back to the creator, I don't think it's not going to happen anytime soon. To be honest with you.
