Trailers you've seen with movies?

Saw these yesterday with Mad Max: Fury Road.

* San Andreas - Could go either way with this one.
* Entourage - Never saw the show, and can't stand Kevin Dillon or Jeremy Piven, so pass.
* Jurassic World - Chris Pratt. Bleh! But I know I'm gonna see it anyway just because it's Jurassic Park.
* Terminator: Genisys - Every time I see it, I hear Cleveland from Family Guy in my head: "There's nothing good about who you are or what you do."
* Fantastic Four - Only makes me want to revisit the previous FF movies.
* The Walk - Could be interesting, knowing the true story it's based on. Will probably rent it, though, unless 2D showings are available.
* Sinister 2 - Pass.
* The Last Witch Hunter - Could be entertaining, but probably a rental for me.

Trailers before Mad Max Fury Road (same as Michael24's showing, but no Sinister 2 or Last Witch Hunter):

Pixels
The Walk
Jurassic World
Fantastic Four (Dear god this looks dreadful. I'm on Michael24's side on this because every time I see this trailer, it makes me think that the original films are better than this. And Michael Chiklis as The Thing is the best part in the original films! For the reboot? I pass.)
Entourage
San Andreas
Terminator Genisys
Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice (Am definitely seeing this, though I still don't get the False God part in the trailer)

I think it's going to take a lot for a disaster movie to be thrilling again. The shots I saw in the San Andreas trailer were so over-the-top I knew they were phony from second one. They go way too far with the CGI these days and that's not likely to stop.

The most effective shot in the trailer was the guy trying to save his family from drowning, because that looked like it was actually happening.

Before Tron Legacy:

Cowboys And Aliens
Thor
Green Lantern
Transformers: Dark Of The Moon
Mars Needs Moms
The Green Hornet

I recall seeing a special Fame trailer before one of the Harry Potter movies about a "school that teaches you how to fly".

In other news, I also recall a Bolt trailer before High School Musical 3 where Rhino the hamster would ramble about the High School Musical movies to a mute hamster, poking fun at it ("I want fabulous, so I can swim in a pool") and then he wishes he were in a movie... the other hamster gives him the good news.

Before Kung Fu Panda and WALL-E, I remember seeing Pink Panther 2 trailers where Clouseau (sp?) tried to see said movies, unsuccessfully due to the tickets selling out.

Here's what I got before all of the Twilight movies (*sigh* yes I seen all of them. And they were bad.)

Saw these yesterday with Jurassic World.

* Minions - Ugh. What a nightmare this looks like it would be to sit through.
* Max - Doesn't look great, doesn't look horrible. Basically indifferent.
* Ted 2 - Loved the first one, so can't wait for this. Only wish it could have been the red band trailer.
* The Walk - Glad to finally see a trailer instead of the teaser again. Looks good, but I'd pass on the 3D version.
* Self/less - Looks interesting, but will probably wait for Blu-ray.
* The Martian - Again, looks interesting, but I'm not a Matt Damon fan (or a Jessica Chastain fan, or a Kristen Wiig fan).
* Bridge of Spies - It seems like many of Spielberg's recent movies all feel the same, but . . . it's got Tom Hanks. Hard to pass up.

You don't like the Minions? Man, we've had our disagreements, but I....I don't know if I can deal with that :(!

;)

I don't know how anybody could like the Minions.

It think they're cute and hilarious, they make me smile. Even their Christmas carol, and to make me smile about Christmas is a Herculean task.

Before Fellowship Of The Ring:

Star Wars Episode 2: Attack Of The Clones
Mr. Deeds
The Scorpion King
Signs
The Powerpuff Girls Movie (this was the same teaser that was on the movie's website from early 2002. To my surprise, everyone cheered when the trailer ended.)
Spider Man
Austin Powers In Goldmember
Blade 2

Before The Two Towers:

Finding Nemo
Pirates Of The Caribbean
Old School
Bad Boys 2
Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines
Dumb And Dumber: When Harry Met Lloyd

Final Destination 2

Before Return Of The King:

Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban

Before Inside Out

The Peanuts Movie
Minions
Hotel Transylvania 2
A Peter Pan movie (I don't know its name)
The Good Dinosaur
and maybe some others I forgot. I forget things after some hours

Pan is probably what you are talking about.

Here's what I got before Inside Out (saw a late night showing. The theater was packed with adults, both young and old):

The Martian
Fantastic Four
The Peanuts Movie
Paper Towns
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part II (this one got cheers at the end, mainly from the young adults)
Pan
The Good Dinosaur
Ant Man

Lava Short

Before Jurassic World:

Smosh: The Movie (I'm not even kidding. These 2 are making a movie)
Southpaw

The Martian
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2
Minions
Ted 2

Before Jurassic World:

Ant-Man
Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Fantastic Four
Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials

I think that was it, the cinema I went to never does have many trailers.

My theater airs a minimum of 8 trailers or less before every movie. The theaters I usually go to is the AMC Theater at Phipps Plaza and the Regal Atlantic Stadium, both downtown.

Anyways, here's what I got before a late night showing of Pokemon The First Movie:

Toy Story 2
Magnolia (I'm not even kidding. It was the teaser that played)
Titan AE
Any Given Sunday (I'm not kidding about that one too)
Mission Impossible 2

Pikachu's Vacation Short

Before Pokemon 2000 (late night showing):

Rugrats In Paris: The Movie

Pikachu's Rescue Adventure Short

Before Pokemon 3 The Movie (once again, late night showing):

Pikachu And Pichu Short

Sugar & Spice
Lord Of The Rings Trilogy
Pokemon 3: The Movie

I think that was it, the cinema I went to never does have many trailers.
Jeez, I wish our local theater (Regal Cinema) was like that. They always show an ungodly amount of trailers. After about four or five, you can start to sense the audience getting restless and just wanting the movie to start already. I even timed it once and there were 33 minutes(!!) of trailers that played before a movie. Ridiculous!

I occasionally quip "What'd I come to see again?" It's ridiculous, and now we have to suffer through commercials before THAT. It's annoying. It's like DVDs and Blu-ray, where I, who actually BOUGHT the discs instead of bootlegging them, can't skip the damn anti-piracy warnings.

Saw the red band trailer for the new Vacation in front of Fury Road. My God, does it look terrible.

Here's my Inside Out list:
Hotel Transylvania 2
Pan
The Good Dinosaur
Zootopia
Shaun the Sheep Movie

And my Jurassic World list:
Bridge of Spies
Everest
Terminator Genisys
The Thin Line (that might not be the exact title; it looks to be about a tightrope walker)
Minions (yeah, it didn't play before Inside Out, but it did before this. Makes sense....)

Is that Joan Cusack voicing Jessie in that Toy Story Papa John's commercial? If so, it sounds rough. Woundn't surprise me if it wasn't, though.
