If it ever needs more power for a drama scene, you can always go "Trans-am" and make it a power-up with a drawback.
We really do need a clear answer on the SEED factor, something the movie needs to address. It somewhat makes sense for the Coordinators to have it, but I think Cagalli achieving the SEED factor was a mistake that threw a lot of people off.
Also, it was probably stated, as I remember it being slightly touched on, but can coordinators have children? Just not by normal methods?
Only if the parents were in supporting roles. Such characters really need their own identity established. I wouldn't hold my breath for this, though. Marriage is something Gundam's never given much attention to. It's probably easier to write new characters with different backgrounds and perspectives, although that doesn't mean that this should never be tried. Just...not for Seed. The characters we've got still have issues to work out.If that is the case, and say they take this movie into the future quite a bit, say...20 or so years.
Would you want the show to focus on the kids of the "main" characters?
I'm not sure if I like that idea, as I am quite fond of Kira and such, but I suppose it would allow the writers more freedom for the story. Still, not sure if I would be happy with it.
You know, it has got to suck to pilot a Windam or a Murasame in Destiny. Everytime you go out, which is normally only once, you are facing a gundam, whose capabilities far surpass yours, not neccessarily because of the pilot, but the machine itself. Do these soldiers realize they are pretty much flying to their death? Unless I was actually piloting a Gundam, there is no way in hell I would get in a Zaku, Murasame or Windam.
And what exactly is Lacus at the end of Destiny? The chairwoman? Or whatever the title is for them...
I agree with that last point, though I don't agree with assassin ideas. It's a dark concept, and I'm reticent to see drama added arbitrarily just to raise the stakes. On top of that, GSD has already gone there with its pair of failed attempts. If so, in the movie they could easily try an angle where Coordinators try and eliminate her, and maybe even succeed. I find it almost impossible to believe that EVERYONE is happy that she is ruling the PLANTs, just because her name is Lacus Clyne.
Which still doesn't explain why Endor didn't become a wasteland when the pieces are SUPPOSED to fall down.
Hrg... Dammit why is it that no matter how much I want to hate those MS they're always given relatively interesting stills and poses post-Destiny that makes them actually look cool?
