"Tiny Toons Looniversity" News & Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

she has a full time job now
If you mean Cree Summer, she's been doing voice over work since the 1980s when she voiced Penny on Inspector Gadget. She played Freddie on NBC's A Different World. She's the voice of the Green M&M to this very day.

^^Also, given that Elmyra isn't a student or a faculty member at Acme Loo, this is likely a one-and-done appearance like Montana Max, but Cree Summer is an active voice actor. She's not starving for work.

Huh.....Elmyra sounds different. If you hadn't told me that was Cree I would have assumed otherwise.

Either it's a byproduct of Summer not doing the voice for a long time, or her voice aging....or maybe this is supposed to be an older Elmyra (because she looks older) and Cree is deliberately pitching her different.

Looking back, it didn't make much sense for Elmyra to be going to Acme Loo as she looked to be about six years old. But then if she WAS six that relationship with Montana Max wouldn't make much sense. But if she WASN'T six then what kind of teenager acts like Elmyra?? All these questions are coming back again.

Believe it or not, Elmyra was meant to be 13 years old in the original TTA series.

I think he meant to say that Elmyra has a full time job now.

You already said that on the previous page. You're correct but typing the same thing more than once is redundant and is technically spam.

The thing to keep in mind is that Tiny Toons Looniversity is a reboot, not a sequel to Tiny Toon Adventures. It's not a continuation of TTA; rather, it takes place as if the previous series never happened.

This past weekend, I came across an online petition for WB to make music videos for TTL:

Already, I see 2 problems with this campaign:

1. Online petitions don't work, and

2. Warner Brothers would need to pay for the licensed music, and I doubt that David Zaslav, aka, Ebeneezer Pennypincher, would be willing to shell out the extra cash to make that happen.

There are only 5 episodes left and 2 specials left.

"Things That Go Tweet in the Woods" - the last of the Season 1 holdovers.
"Let Them Eat Quack"
"I Got An New Aptitude"
"Ask Not What Bunnies Can Do For You"
"Squash Me If You Can"

"Nightmare on Toon Street" - Halloween season
"Winter Blunderland" - Christmas season

Watch Tiny Toons Looniversity | Max
(As of September 24, 2024, Max has updated the Tiny Toons page and included these images likely by mistake.)

I guess they're gonna release the postponted Halloween special next year.

Strange that they didn't release it this year, considering they Warner Bros already posted clips of it on one of their YouTube channels:

I'm guessing they'll probably release it in May, like Night Ghoulery. :p

I'd guess October 2025

At least they spaced it out as one batch of S2 and one special, one batch of S2 and one special

Any rumblings of a Season 3 in 2026?

I think WBD/Max has not exercised their option to renew the show for a third season. Not confirmed yet but if plenty of artists are moving on to other projects, it is just another straight to series two season order out the door. I don’t get why they picked Erin Gibson to be the showrunner when she doesn’t have the merit and experience in animation. I understand the need for new and fresh talent, but I guess this show reflected the direction WarnerMedia wanted to take under Ann Sarnoff and Tom Ascheim who greenlit it.

When is season 2 coming to Cartoon Network and Max in EMEA (as well as Boomerang UK, Boomerang France and Boomerang Italy)?

Probably between Spring or Summer 2025, or when the rest of season two episodes will be released on Max.

Tiny Toons Looniversity was one of those quick two season pickups when the streaming bubble was active.
