TOM 3, definitely. I think it is the "ultimate" TOM incarnation.

TOM 2.0. It had the best TIEs, it actually had all the TIEs. Midnight Run was at its peak. Absolution had an awesome upgrade during Lockdown. Giant Robot Week aired at that time which was my favorite Toonami marathon. Featuring the pilot episode of.........Megas XLR! Flash.

TOM 2, easily. It was the point where Toonami grew from an awkward adolescent into Captain Awesome.

To be fair, TOM2 got to reside over arguably the best of the block when all is said and done. I liked TOM3 and the snazzy Absolution 2.0 but if they had remained with TOM2 and the original Absolution I likely wouldn't have complained. TOM4 and everything surrounding him was a MAJOR downgrade in coolness and feel in my opinion. Honestly, the only thing I really liked about TOM getting a face is in the final Toonami signoff bump we got to truely see how sad the robots were to be closing up shop..

Also, to be fair, I never experienced TOM 1 and barely got to see TOM 2 before the switch to TOM 3. You can understand why I have a bias towards TOM 3, then.

My selection for the best version of Tom from Toonami would definatly go to Tom2, he had a cool design and I was heavy into the block when he was the host, plus there was just something about him that I found so enjoyable. I really liked Tom3 as well, but Tom4 was probably my least favorite, he had a mouth.....and eyes.....yeah....

TOM II or TOM III were both really good, I liked the original TOM too but for whatever reason I found TOM IV to be annoying and I wish they just kept the 3rd TOM or made TOM IV a little more different, but whatever, Toonami still rocked regardless of TOM IV being dull and annoying.

After rewatching many bumpers and intro's and other segments from Toonami troughout the years, my pick for the best version of TOM does to TOM 3, he was cool looking and I think when he was around was my favorite time to watch Toonami during it's run. May he R.I.P....

Sweet, thanks. I don't think it was a Star Wars commercial, though. I don't remember it clearly, but I think it was for some game on CN's website.
Jason responded to me on Twitter. He couldn't get the name of the beat though.

@ToonFaithful Those tracks didn't have names, that is one from Danger Mouse. He gave us a ton of beats for three or four years...

Tom 1
was the pioneer for the reset of his incarnations loved the little dude epscially that he was VA'd by the same voice actor that did Krillin on Dragonball cant remember his voice

Tom 2
the begining of the New millenia and a whole new look Va replaced with Steven Blum yeah Steven's voice matched the feel of Toonami so perfectly Bumps by now Narrated by none other than Peter Cullen.

Sarah 1.0 great addition to the show some one to keep tom Company felt sorry for him up there al alone:( her first model was cool looking for the time

Tom 3
everyone can agree Tom's most Buffed up version not to bad a model kept the cool factor from previous models

Sarah 2.0
a Hologram of Sarah more detailed with Polygons floating around here just hovering behind or beside Tom in the Openings personally my Favorite of the Two:cool:

Tom 4
No idea what was going through the heads of the designers it lost most of its Cool laid back motives along with with his visior  for shame.

No Sarah in this Era was a big blow to me i liked her concept and not seeing her making retorts about tom and his jokes.

Flash and the rest of the gang
Not bad personallities probably would of been great if they were done in a style that could have complimented Tom 3 and Sarah big swing and a miss there

Overall Toonami had a Great Run was terribly sad to see it go oh and a promo that stuck out to me was a guest apperance by a certain guy named Jak :)

im just glad there still using some of toonami's music

hmm...i remember reading last week in this thread about this "OMITTED".

i checked it out, and appearantly there are some really talented guys who arent just trying to ressurect the pre-Tom4.0, but completely created a new TOM as well as a new Sara.
I just checked out their website.
and i gotta tell ya.

they are dead serious.

personally i loved toonami, but i've already moved on from its death. any more sob songs and i'll puke.

but anywas you guys should check out their website.

OMITTED.

one of the Toonami Veterans James Demarco has shown some interest in this project.

just spreadin the word.

It they want to resurect Toonami and are serious about it, then by all means they should go ahead. I'm not the biggest Toonami fan, but I believe in "where there's a will there's a way".

Also, did they post their designs of Tom 5 and Sara 4? I heard talk about it, but I can't for the life of me find any trace of a Tom 5 and Sara 4 on OMITTED. (Or is that Sara 3?)

I think you mean Jason DeMarco unless he's got a relative that also worked on Toonami.

They're really coming along over there. That Gurren Lagann Toonami intro was pretty slick (though I can't fully judge it as I'm at work on break and I have no sound atm).

TOM 5 and Sara 3 are both shown in videos on the front page there.

It's hard to imagine this project actually accomplishing something viable but perhaps CN will see the effort going into this and reconsider their choice to put Toonami down for good. Probably not, but it's nice to dream.

Sadly, even if Toonami came back, it might not be good. I mean, imagine if Johnny Test was placed on the block, just cause its popular.

They did a great job and maybe the revolution can be televised again.

I loved Toonami as much as anyone, but I wouldn't hold my breath. The show's over folks, nothing left to see unfortunatly, but at least we have YouTube for the old bumpers and DVD's of the old shows.

At least we have that.

well i've been trackin their site for a month now...and i'm still not sure weither they'd like to bring it back to CN "or" make some kind of online broadcast? no sure yet.

Also, as i've said before.

they are dead serious.
so all the programming, selection of shows, intros, outros, bumpers...everything. so yeah. check'em out.

i 2nd that.

yes. their Tom 5 is already up. they've gave tom's design some modifications/tweeks as the weeks and months go by. Its basically like a combo between Tom 1, 2, and 3. its pretty cool.

Sara is still definetely a work in progress. and yes. her design is also on their website as well.

hey.
if you kinda liked or loved toonami. or maybe it didnt peak your interests, just go and support those ppl.

yeah. we could call them nostalgic nutterbutters lol (luv those snacks)
but they took things into their own hands, and are tryin to make something happen here.

so i give'em kudos for that.

oh and the gurren lagann intro is hot dude. felt like i was sucked back in time 10yrs ago and watchin this on toonami. definetly doing the name justice.
