The annual "Treehouse of Horror" episode airs tonight at 8 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:

How to Get Ahead in Dead-Vertising: Homer discovers that dead celebrities can be put in commercials for free, so he starts killing celebrities.

Untitled Robot Parody: In a parody of Transformers, Bart buys a birthday present from a 99 cent store, which turns out to be a Transformer.

It's the Grand Pumpkin, Milhouse: In a parody of It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown the Grand Pumpkin comes to life and becomes upset with human beings carving up pumpkins, so it tries to eat everyone.

Only the Great Pumpkin sketch sounds like it'll be any good, and even then it's not going to come even close to Robot Chicken's Great Pumpkin sketch.

The Great Pumpkin story would be cool, if it wasn't for the fact that Robot Chicken did it already, and probably better than The Simpsons ever will.
