I just talked to a surprisingly friendly person at Cartoon Network UK who said the reason The Savage Time 3 had not been shown as planned was because they had a problem with the tape, but they were aware that it was a 3-parter.

She also said that it would be re-scheuled and shown as soon as possible, but couldn't say for sure if it would be this month.

Well, it's good to know they aren't complete dolts over there -- and thought it was only a two-part episode. Glad to hear that the UK will get to see "The Savage Time" sometime in the near future... too bad I don't live there anymore! :(

I think if I was the dolt who messed up the schedule, I would blame the tape too :)

Good work Supremus! Glad to hear that we will get to see part 3 eventually, now if CNUK would only scheduled some JL this month.

It could be this month. The helpful woman said the reason they have pulled the schedule from the website was because it had changed so often recently. I still wouldn't expect to see Savage Time 3 until next month, though, but fingers crossed, and I am going to keep a close eye on my EPG just in case :-)

Why don't you give them a call too, or send them a fax, just to let them know there are more people out there who wants it now.

Yeah I'll think I'll send them a fax tomorrow. Wonder if I should mention BOTF or STAS, maybe that'll be pushing it.

Push away :) I am going to send them a fax tomorrow as well lobbying for Superman TAS and possibly Batty Beyond, and I have a few other people lined up who want to join the campaign as well.

Does anyone know if they'll be repeating JL at all? I've missed the entire run of JL (no Cartoon Network), and I'm wondering if getting a digital package will be worth the trouble.

Guys,
Did I miss something?
This weekend was full of repeats, where have you lot seen Savage Times 1 & 2 ?
I normally watch at 10.30 on weekends, was this shown at a different time?

Please help

Yes, 1 & 2 aired on Tuesday and Wednesday last week at 12:30, but we never got part 3 due to and alleged problem with the tape.

What!

Are these the new times for new episodes! Have I missed more than 2 episodes?
The last one I watched was Metaphormosis 1 &2.

No, there are no new times. CN messed up the schedule in a big way by showing new episodes in the middle of the week, and there are no more episodes scheduled for September, although this could change. According to their website, they weren't planning to show JL at all last week, apart from Saturday & Sunday, so a lot of people would have missed Savage Time 1 & 2.

If you watched Metamorphosis you would only have missed Savage Time, and that was the final episode of season 1, but like I said, we all missed part 3.

I found the contact info for CN UK, so if you are unhappy about their mis-schedueling, please either phone or fax them. Hopefully they will air Savage Time again this month if enough people complain,

Cheers!
I will ring them up.
Thanks again.

By the way are we going to ever see the Superman series on CN?
I remember them airing a few episodes some time back

I wish I had asked about Superman when I called them. I would love to see a repeat of season 1, as well as the rest of the episodes we never got to see.

If you call them, please ask about it and let us know.

I called but got the machine will try again

I was actually very surprised that I got through. In my first attempt too :)

And even more surprising was that the woman in programming I talked to was very friendly, and seemed quite happy to take her time and talk to me about the mess-up, so a big thumbs up to CN in general for employing polite people.

Not like the goons at Sky. I once had one of them threaten me that he was going to come round my house and "rough me up" if I didn't stop complaining. Ok, maybe that's not exactly what he said, but he sure wasn't friendly :)

Anyway, keep at it, and if you can't get through, maybe send them a fax or snail mail instead.

Thanks for the news Supremus! I'm glad that Cartoon Network are definitely going to show the third part. I hope they show on cartoon theatre.

I doubt it will be on Cartoon Theatre, because they probably only have the tapes with the 3 separate episodes they got from the US. I don't think CN UK do their own edits.

I can't stand watching Cartoon Theatre anyway, because of that annoying animated logo. It's almost as distracting as the spinning CN/Boomerang logo.

I am guessing they will schedule a repeat of the entire season next month, and that's probably when we will get Savage Time 3.

I have also had problems with rude members of Sky. I pay £32 a month for it I have the right to expect it to work. I hope they do air it on cartoon theatre as I have not seen the first 2 parts. Also am I right in thinking that Secret origins was originally aired in cartoon theatre becuase I didn't have sky then.

Yes, Secret Origins premiered on Cartoon Theatre, but was also shown as 3-parters later.

I think they repeated it on Cartoon Theatre just a few weeks ago.

Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
